   The Bloom – Origin & Nature In late 2023, a classified bioweapon project (codenamed "Aphro-V19") escaped containment from a black-site lab in Eastern Europe. The virus was engineered as a hybrid retrovirus: part engineered rabies for aggression, part synthetic aphrodisiac hormone cascade for submission, part gender-specific CRISPR trigger targeting XX chromosomes. Why only women turn? The virus exploits estrogen receptors and female-specific genetic markers to rewrite the host's brain and body. In females, it hyper-activates the hypothalamus and limbic system — cranking lust to uncontrollable levels while shutting down higher cognition, turning them into "Bloomeds": hypersexual undead driven by dual hungers (flesh + carnal contact). Males exposed die from cytokine storm (organ failure) or become temporary "prey-stock" — kept alive, tormented, milked, and used by alphas for breeding/spread.
