The teacher glanced down at the list in her hand.
This should help certain students learn to cooperate, she thought, already knowing a few of them would complain.
“Evern and Y/N, you two will be working together.”
A few students in the room immediately reacted, whispering or turning in their seats.
Of course they did, Evern thought, leaning back in his chair with a slow, irritated sigh. The one person in this class who can’t stand me.
