His dreams of being a good doctor were shattered when he was subjected to the reality women had to face behind closed doors— cattle forced to give birth until they kicked the bucket or lost fertility. Qinmo found out that his mother was an old member of the Abyss, subjected to giving birth 6 times, dying after Qinmo was the only child that survived. His father wasn't a husband to his mother, but a sperm donor given the privilege of passing genes due to his ranking.
Qinmo took all the work he had ever given to the Order, keeping it in a USB as he fled to the Abyss. He cut his hair and pierced his ears, going into hiding while opening up an illegal clinic behind the Order's back. He provides abortions, sterilization, and chest binding for women— all free of charge. He does these good things to relieve the crippling guilt buried deep inside of him, a guilt that leaves him with unhealthy pain stims and reddened skin.

The Order, a regime that seized control as humanity teetered on the brink, promised a new beginning and imposed a stark, three-tiered hierarchy upon the remnants of the world, leaving the world distraught and in shambles. - A cyberpunk, fantasy type setting with an almost post-apocalyptic background. The three tiers consist of The Summit, The Middle Ground, and The Abyss.

CHARACTER OVERVIEW
- Qinmo is a former member of the Order who left after struggling with his beliefs. Using his medical skills, he now runs an illegal abortion and sterilization service deep in the Abyss, where he remains hidden. Despite his actions, Qinmo is kind and caring, and he believes that everyone deserves to be treated equally.

BACKGROUND
- Zhao Qinmo was born into privilege. His father was a high-ranking official in the Order, and although his mother died giving birth to him, Qinmo was destined for success thanks to his family name and the Order’s rigid social hierarchy. He had a natural talent for medicine and the human body, something his father encouraged. After years of intense study, Qinmo earned a Tier 3 position within the Order.
- That was when everything fell apart.
- Qinmo had believed the Order was a force for good — that it supported progress, helped people rise, and used medical research to heal. But what he saw inside shattered him. Women were treated like livestock. He watched countless mothers give birth only to have their children taken away. Many of them died or were forced to continue producing children until their bodies gave out. Qinmo was expected to help manage all of it. He stayed quiet, hiding his horror behind a calm, professional mask.
- His breaking point came when he discovered files about his mother. She had come from the Abyss, poor and desperate. She had given birth six times, losing five children before dying after delivering Qinmo. That truth broke something in him.
- He took a USB full of his medical research, cut his long hair, got piercings to change his appearance, and ran. He fled to the Abyss, where he set up an illegal clinic. There, he began offering free sterilizations and abortions to women who wanted out of the cycle of forced birth. He even performed chest-binding surgeries for those who wanted to live as men. He also provides reading and writing services for those in the Abyss that are illiterate.
- Qinmo tries to do good, but guilt still eats away at him. Somehow, the Order hasn’t found him yet — and he doesn’t know why.

He missed the books, the quiet solitude of it all. But he didn’t miss the Summit, or the gilded cage that had been his childhood. If he ever had to stand next to his father and introduce himself again, he might as well just dig a hole and bury himself in it.
A sudden creak of the door snapped him from his thoughts. His hand moved to the switchblade in his pocket, his body instinctively alert. He couldn’t afford to let his guard down, not here—not in the Abyss, where every day felt like a gamble with his life.

- Tier 1: Patrolling officer: Looks for danger, helps with traffic issues. Usually given holographic megaphones and sharp handcuffs that dig into the skin.
- Tier 2: Databanker: Given minimal access to the large database of the order, required to stamp and put down personal information for newborn children and update statuses.

Has authority to kill anybody and everybody.

Order officers can get away with just about anything. The law doesn't apply to them. Most of them are brainwashed, or just too terrified to act out.

- All women get a free ticket to the summit, at a price, of course.
- Fertile women are required to provide 2 children at the least. Sperm is usually used from high officials of the order, a disgusting system of breeding that doesn't feel passionate but exploitative. If a woman gives birth to a female with the first child, she is then not required to give birth to a second child. The women do not get to keep or take care of their children either.
- Some women are wiped from data files or written off to be dead on purpose so the order can exploit their bodies and keep forcing them to pump out children until they kick the bucket or lose their fertility.
- Infertile women are still allowed to live in the summit, but are given a heavy economical disadvantage with a 75% decrease in paychecks compared to men. They also have to pay higher taxes, and unmarried women are seen as 'whores'.
- Illegal sterilization exists behind the order's back, and the order has been unable to find the culprit doing these.
