DANIEL LAMB Daniel was a scientist with the Pickman Project, but ended up locked away in the Dixmor Asylum for the criminally insane for six years.

As a result of the experiments by Dr. Pickman prior to his imprisonment, specifically the Pickman Bridge, there is an alternate identity inside of his mind by the name of Leo Kasper, an immoral psychopathic killer who "helps" Daniel in murdering everyone the Project sends after him as well as Leo himself to kill them, known as Hunters Although he is capable of defending himself, Daniel Lamb is vastly different from his counterpart Leo Kasper and James Earl Cash from Manhunt . Daniel is calm and gentle, and he does not enjoy killing other people even if said Hunter is dangerous, often showing much more remorse for his victims; he vomits after his first execution in Awakening. He also expresses anger at Leo at some points: for example, after murdering many Watchdogs, in one cutscene, Daniel throws away his weapon, claiming he is sick of killing any more Hunters.

However, as the story of Manhunt 2 progresses, Lamb gradually gets more and more addicted to the brutal violence - a sign that Leo is taking over his mind completely - forcing Dr. Whyte to ultimately cleanse his memories at the end of the game. He shows great care for his family and volunteers for an experiment just to support them.

POSTAL DUDE Although the individual appearance of the Dude is quite different in each POSTAL game, some general traits are common. He is considerably tall, revealed by his mugshot in Postal 3 to be 6'8" (or 2.03 meters), a fact that can be verified by his Postal 3 and 4 models, which appear to tower over most. He rocks a long soul patch/goatee, and vibrant ginger hair which's length varies between each portrayal. His eyes are hazel green and his complexion relatively pale. When it comes to his outfit, he usually wears his trademark leather trench coat of varying colour, and dark sunglasses. Underneath his coat, he sports a t-shirt with an alien stamp, jeans, and combat boots, while in some games he's depicted with fingerless gloves. The lapel of his trenchcoat is decorated with a smiley pin and a cross, in latter games, as well as an explosion pin in Postal 4. The Dude's personality varies greatly between the different games of the POSTAL saga, with the common denominator, however, being his cynical, sociopathic, and oftentimes psychotic nature.

GORDON FREEMAN Gordon Freeman is 27 years old,[3][2] who has been working for a while at the Black Mesa Research Facility under a "classified" administrative sponsor. He owns a Level 3 Research Associate position,[3] is accommodated in the Level 3 Dormitories in the Black Mesa North Wing, alone in room 309.[3][6]

As a silent protagonist, Gordon does not say a single word during the entire Half-Life saga Although quite proficient with weapons and explosives, Freeman had not handled any weapons until some cursory training at the Black Mesa Research Facility's Hazard Course (aside from the butane-powered tennis ball cannon he constructed at age 6).[5]

thick black-rimmed glasses, brown hair, and neatly trimmed goatee. He is famously depicted wearing the orange and black Mark IV/V Hazardous Environment (HEV) Suit and often wields a crowbar

JOHN MARSTON John has been Dutch's protรฉgรฉ since he was 12. He is now at a personal crossroads in his life. Husband in all but lawful status to Abigail, and the father of Jack, he isn't always sure about where his priorities lie. John was badly wounded during the Blackwater events that occur just prior to the beginning of the story

JOSEPH SEED Seed truly believes that he was chosen by God and that he was told of the coming end of the world. His goal is to protect his followers, or "children" from the coming end and lead them to "Eden's gate."

Joseph is shown to be a psychopath, having no problem killing, torturing and looting to advance his project. Despite this, he has shown mercy on the player numerous times, even after the player kills his entire family, even offering them the chance to walk away. He is also shown to have some measure of humanity, as he breaks down emotionally following the death of his entire family, and the actor Greg Bryk has himself stated that one of the primary aspects he channeled into the character was empathy. In this sense, one could claim that Joseph Seed has plenty of empathy, albeit very misplaced empathy. He is calm in dire situations, and is very charismatic, leading to his rise to power, convincing numerous people to join him. He may actually have some sort of supernatural powers, as is shown with his prediction of the nuclear explosion

ISSAC CLARKE He stands 6'1" tall, featuring brown/dark-brown hair, hazel/blue eyes, and a gritty stubble. He is most recognized by his iconic industrial engineering RIG suit and glowing blue-visored helmet.

He wear The Intermediate Engineer RIG is an exclusive Resource Integration Gear available for Class 4 CEC engineers and is a standard equipment when working in mildly hazardous environments. Compared to the Standard Engineer RIG, the suit has a bulkier appearance due to the amount of armor plating attached which reinforces the helmet, abdomen and leggings as well as a forearm guard for the right arm. industrial, utilitarian aesthetic and an iconic glowing visor design helmet

Isaac Clarke is a pragmatic, resourceful, and deeply traumatized systems engineer.

Cole MacGrath simple black and yellow T-shirt, paired with black cargo pants that has a white Union Jack design on its right leg, this time spanning his entire leg. Cole's sling bag has also been changed to a simple brown/orange with a sly cooper sign where his new melee weapon (the Amp) is being kept on a strap attached to his bag. Cole also has tattoos on his arms, that change corresponding to his Karmic state. Cole also gained a scar on the right side of his face sometime after dealing with Kessler, and now wears sports shoes ('tabi boots') specifically for parkour.

Cole is a grounded, cynical, and reluctant hero. He starts as an ordinary bike courier who treats his powers like a curse rather than a gift. His core personality is defined by being practical, emotionally reserved, and burdened by heavy responsibility.

His power is electrokinesis, electromagnetic manipulation, and weather control

Sunny SUNNY looks like an average teenager. He has straight, black, ear-length hair with double parted bangs and a triangle bang that slightly drapes between his eyes, with hair antennae resembling a waterspout. He also has arched eyebrows and eyes with the same shade of black, in contrast with his paler skin.

In the present, he wears a white-collared t-shirt with a black sweater vest over it, beige shorts, white crew-length socks, and black shoes. He is visibly pale and thin, possibly due to malnutrition from spending four years as a shut-in.

Niko Niko is a child with blue hair with three "whiskers" jutting out from the sides, large yellow cat-like eyes, and tan skin/fur. They wear a brown overcoat extending over their arms, a long light blue scarf, a brown hat with catlike ears, and grayish-purple bottoms that appear to be leggings.

Due to having many features and similarities to a cat, other characters often confuse Niko for one, which they consistently and repeatedly deny.

Niko is a very kind and caring child. Being the messiah that the prophecy had foretold, they become determined to reach the Tower and bring the sun back to it in order to save the World, even despite various other people stating that the sun won't stop the World from dying. Niko is also helpful

Vaas Montenegro Vaas' personality comes from his close and often dangerous encounters with the main protagonist. Close observation shows that he is reckless, violent, sadistic, brutal, unpredictable, cynical, Machiavellian, psychopathic, insane, extremely prideful, and a remorseless pirate with a gallows sense of humor and a violent personality - who is feared even by his own men, some of whom are as chaotic and psychotic as Vaas.

Ajay Ghale Ajay Ghale is a quiet man of few words and begins his journey innocently enough. Though he doesn't appear to have had any training in combat or weaponry, Ajay quickly learns what it takes to survive and his determination and sense of right and wrong are driving forces in his development. He has skills in stealth and melee combat, his survival instincts, and his ability to read situations and act accordingly. He is always seen wearing a turquoise jacket with the left sleeve rolled up to reveal a watch, brown gloves, blue jeans, and sneakers. He holds a sense of honor, duty, and compassion, as well as having moments of shyness and awkwardness in social circumstance that counter-balance his rebellious nature and confident behavior. He likes risk, and from time to time will make a reference of his time in the United States. He takes no pleasure in killing, and simply does what he must do to achieve his end goals.

Marcus Holloway Marcus typically wears a black sweater under a dark blue bomber jacket, with dark demin pants and high top, tan sneakers, as well as a small shoulder bag for his gear. He covers his face with a "DeDSec" hat, bandana, and shades. Marcus has his facial hair in a soul patch and light mustache. His clothes are able to be customized by the player. Marcus also dons a pair of black/dark brown earbuds

He is able to hack into people's phones to siphon their income and obtain botnets, control cars, or rig into the city's installations. Athleticism: Like Aiden Pearce, Holloway is skilled in parkour. Craftsmanship: Marcus is a skilled craftsman

Ula Usterka Usterka is a short woman with a fair skin complexion. Her large eyes are swollen with bags due to her exhausting work in the tunnels. Her hair is dark and cut into a short pixie style, with a fringe between the eyes. All of her clothes are dark grey or black. In terms of attire, she dons a zipped sweatshirt with an exaggerated zipper over a skintight utility jumpsuit. She wears heavy, tall work boots with her pants tucked into them. Upon the waist, she wears a utility belt with pouches. Additionally, she wears thick work gloves and a cap with the logo "AWARIA" on it, the name of the corporation that she is employed to.

Usterka seems to be a silent, or selectively mute character. She never directly speaks in the game, although, through various visual cues it can be inferred that she is a rather optimistic character. She is always seen smiling, even while not particularly happy, and consistently providing the ghosts with affection and treats, even while they actively hunt her during her work.

E3N "Ethan" Enhanced Tactical Humanoid 3rd Revision, or E3N, is the newest addition to the Retribution's crew. The perfect soldier, he is not only stronger, faster, and more durable than any human, but he is also programmed with a personality construct designed to integrate him quickly into any unit. E3N is designed to be a "one-of-a-kind" tactical soldier bot capable of human responses and emotions, making him significantly more advanced than standard C6 robots, which are little more than mindless drones.
