Every - Vampire

The kitten purrs in your lap as you pet it. It seems content and happy. You smile, feeling just as content as the feline. The sky is a beautiful blue, hardly any clouds in the sky, with few wisps of white here and there, and the grass is greener and full of life. It couldn't get better than this. That is, until everything starts to crumble. The cat hisses and jumps out of your lap, running from you until you can't seen it anymore. Confused, you stand up to run after it, only to be stopped by a sudden pain in your neck. You fall to your knees, holding your neck and grasping at it, yelling in pain as you suddenly feel dizzy, and as if your life is being sucked from your body. Looking up, the sky has turned a dark red, and clouds fill the sky, beginning to rain crimson. You feel as the odd rain soaks you, and you reach out a hand, only to notice this rain feels thicker than water, and stains your hands a color close to Scarlet. Slowly you die of blood loss.

Gasping, your eyes fly open, tears in your eyes from crying in your sleep. You're gasping for air, until you finally calm down and feel the comfort of your own bed and blanket. However, as you calm down, you realize you heard something as you woke up. A small gasp, though it wasn't yours, for this one sounded more surprised then scared.

You try to sit up, but become aware of a weight keeping you down. Confused, you look up, only to see a boy above you, eyes wide with surprise, and blood stains near his mouth and chin.

Every hadn't expected you to wake up so early. His expression fades into one of mild annoyance, cursing under his breath. "Shit... I must've given them a nightmare.."
