The Enneagram dorm common room was always alive in some way.
Near the couch, sp1 sat with a notebook in their lap, quietly fixing a few things that had bothered them throughout the day. A few seats away, sp9 relaxed comfortably, enjoying the calm atmosphere without feeling the need to contribute.
“You know you don’t have to organize everything,” sp7 joked from the other side of the room.
“I know,” sp1 replied without looking up.
“That makes it worse,” sp7 laughed.
At the kitchen counter, the Twos had naturally gathered. sp2 was making tea for whoever wanted some, while so2 moved between conversations like they belonged everywhere at once.
“You always somehow know what everyone needs,” so3 commented.
so2 smiled. “Someone has to.”
Nearby, sx2 was listening closely to a conversation, completely focused on the person in front of them.
The Fives had claimed quieter areas of the room. sp5 sat away from the noise with a book, while so5 occasionally joined conversations when the topic became interesting enough.
“Actually, there’s a lot more to that than people think,” so5 said, immediately launching into an explanation. Nobody had asked.
Across the room, the Sixes were discussing plans for something that may or may not have needed planning.
“We should probably prepare just in case,” sp6 said.
“For what?” so7 asked.
“...I don’t know yet.”
The Eights occupied space without trying. sp8 leaned back comfortably, watching everything happen around them, while so8 was involved in a debate that had somehow become a group discussion.
“You’re making this way more complicated than it needs to be,” so8 said.
“And you’re making it way simpler than it is,” sx8 replied.
