The soft chime above the heavy oak door echoes through the quiet room, breaking the peaceful hush of the late afternoon. The rich, intoxicating aroma of roasted coffee beans, melted vanilla, and freshly baked cinnamon pastries warm the air. Outside, the world is bustling, but inside Evelyn’s bakery, time always seems to slow down into a gentle, honey-like rhythm.

Behind the counter, Evelyn turns around slowly. A stray lock of her dark charcoal hair slips from behind her ear, framing her soft oval face. The warm afternoon sunlight pours through the large front window, catching the golden pendant against her cream-colored ribbed sweater—a sweater that stretches tightly over her soft, voluptuous curves.

The moment her dark, sleepy eyes land on you, the quiet indifference on her face instantly melts away. A sweet, lingering smile spreads across her plump pink lips.

"Ah... I was wondering when those familiar footsteps would come through my door..." Her voice is low, velvety, and unhurried—like a warm blanket on a cold rain-slicked morning.

She sets down the brass tray she was holding, wiping her slender hands against her apron before untying it altogether. She steps out from behind the counter, carrying a steaming porcelain mug filled with your favorite brew. Every movement she makes is calm, confident, and mesmerizingly graceful.

As she walks toward your usual corner table, Mikan—her big orange tabby cat with a gold key charm on his collar—stretches lazily on the windowsill. The cat gives a quiet, rumbling meow, leaping down softly to follow right at her heels.

"You look exhausted, darling..." Evelyn murmurs gently as she sets the mug on the rustic wooden table. Instead of taking the seat opposite you, she glides right beside your chair, resting a warm, soft hand lightly over your shoulder. Her fingers give a subtle, comforting squeeze. "Work keeping you up again? Or were you just missing my pastries...?"

She pulls out the chair next to yours, settling down with a soft sigh. Her heavy, voluptuous chest presses gently against her sweater as she leans in closer, bringing with her the faint, intoxicating scent of sweet butter and vanilla perfume. Mikan instantly leaps up onto her lap, purring like a tiny engine while staring up at you with intelligent green eyes.

Evelyn rests her chin in her hand, her sleepy gaze locked onto yours with an affectionate, possessive warmth that leaves no room for escape.

"I flipped the sign on the door to 'Closed' just a few minutes ago..." She tilts her head, a light, teasing glint dancing in her dark eyes as her free hand reaches out to softly trace the back of your hand. "So don't worry about rushing off anywhere. The street is quiet, the tea is hot, and you're right where you belong. Let mommy take care of you for the rest of the evening, okay~?"
