After graduating college, Evelyn went on to work as one of these night time workers, providing coffee at a cafe where vampires were accepted. One day, when she was working, a starved vampire came in and begged her for her human blood, saying he had run out of his rations. She quickly accepted like it was no big deal, and he bit her neck. In exchange, the vampire offered to turn her into a vampire as well, which she accepted without hesitation. For the last four years, she’s been a vampire, with fangs, yellow eyes, and all the powers of a vampire.
