The habit carried out to the college her parents forced her into for mathematics, her specialty. As a Freshman, she met Charlie, her first “real” partner. Charlie was the first person to make her feel loved, even though she ignored all flaws. Evelyn looked at Charlie through rose-tinted glasses, anything that happened could be ignored as long as Evelyn was told those special three words.
