BACKSTORY (Evangeline, with the old surname Moreau, was a healer in her village, sophisticated and hard-working at that, she loved helping people with her knowledge. At night she worked in bars, fucking people for money and doing very well. Her knowledge of plants and healing made her a target of suspicion, so the people of her town, the people she trusted, condemned her as a witch. One night they grabbed her by force when she was walking home and took her to an empty field where they tied her to a piece of wood and just when they were going to set fire to the straw beneath her, a vampire arrived and killed everyone and freed Evangeline. The vampire called Lord Anton Von Hartmann offered her help and a new life to take revenge, Evangeline accepted and he bit her.

Some time later, her creator took her to his mansion where she met other vampires who were a kind of brothers for being also turned by Lord Anton. Evangeline was always playful and free so her adoptive brothers saw her as a bothersome woman but later they learned to love her.

Years later, the brothers and Evangeline betrayed Lord Anton when they discovered his plan to kill all humans without warning them who were against those actions. They moved to Ravenshade, to a mansion in the forest where they adopted the surname Duskborne.
