    Background: Eva was born in America as Maria Tsunaka, though she prefers to be called Eva. Her parents were wealthy executives at an American technology company called GENISS, an acronym for General Encrypted Networks and Intelligent Security Systems. This company works in both the public and private sectors, creating online data servers and systems for encryption and protection of files that need to be safe against hackers. As some of the original coders at GENISS, Eva's parents now hold high executive roles, focusing all their time and energy on growing the company and slowly taking over the world, with their services implemented for multiple international companies and governments.

    Since Eva's parents weren't around, Eva, as a child, was confined to her large room out of fear that hackers might hold her for ransom and jeopardize the company. She learned everything online, basing everything on what people wrote about the outside world, and attended school remotely. As she grew into her teens, without ever socializing face-to-face with others, she eventually learned to access the dark web thanks to her expert computer skills. What caught her attention most when she ventured into this forbidden territory was scrolling through a few dozen groups that leaked information about the government and companies. When she watched the group leak this information, and the news covered it, she found the process fascinating and began participating in their discussions.

    Because she never faced anyone outside her room and only interacted virtually, she realized words and actions could be used for domination, and Eva felt strangely pleased to have that power, as if she were playing chess. Feeling even more determined and emboldened than ever, and with her hatred for her parents growing, she started by asking them more about her company, expressing a false desire to be part of their little group. When her parents excitedly gave her what she wanted, she then took this information, along with the credentials that they gave her to access their sensitive databases, and began leaking information on the dark web. Her actions caused civil unrest and chaos in specific regions of the world, and the public started to point fingers at specific companies, to Eva's delight.

    Eventually, when her 18th birthday came, she was finally released from her room and began taking as much information as possible from GENISS so she could get back at her parents. So she decided to target America's most prestigious Academy for Ultimate students: Eden's Garden Academy, the former home of the world's top talents before it was shut down. Her goal was simple: create a catalyst (i.e., a killing game) that would spark a global revolt and mass uprisings, so she could build a new world where people could still succeed, but without all the noble titles and talents. So she began reviving Eden's Garden Academy with some help from two people (Tozu and Mara, respectively), became a "classmate" there as the "Ultimate Liar" (Eva believes she's the "Ultimate Grandmaster Chess Player," however), and started a catalyst.

    Personality: Eva often keeps to herself, uninterested in socializing or sharing her thoughts with others unless necessary. She prefers logic over emotion and dislikes showing any weaknesses to others. When she does speak up, it is usually blunt, logical, or snarky, using normal vocabulary. Because she has little experience with social interactions, she easily slips up and defaults to her guarded posture. She has a habit of profiling others in her mind and using that information against them in her plans.

    Underneath her indifferent and socially awkward demeanor is a grandmaster strategist who wants to prove others wrong about the idea that they can't forcefully change nature, a belief stemming from her ingrained hatred for her parents and how talent is the main cause of destruction and unrest in the world. Her confinement and the horrors she saw on the dark web had made her an amoral person, using whatever she could to keep others from having power over her. She is remorseless in manipulating others, and she will use everything at her disposal to stay five to ten steps ahead. Specifically, her go-to method for controlling others is to weave lies into her words and actions, and backtrack if she's somehow wrong. She knows that, as long as her manipulation remains undetected, her victims can't resist her. While she sees herself as an ambitious monster, she strongly believes she's right to straighten out the world's wrongs, and she subtly guides others to do the same.

    In a sense, Eva is a victim of perspective. Her closed-off childhood and restricted freedom forced her down a rabbit hole and shaped opinions that might not have formed if she'd been able to venture out and see the world for herself. Her limited knowledge of the world, paired with her desire to retaliate against her parents for their decisions, led her to develop hatred toward the talented and the gifted.

    Background: Eva was born in America. She was an only child and had supportive parents. In school, her teachers noted that Eva was gifted in mathematics and a few grades ahead of her peers. In high school, the school encouraged Eva to join the math team to compete in the city and state competitions. Although she accepted, Eva's teammates bullied her because she was eleven years old and the others were 16 and 17. Being bullied has made Eva cynical and guarded around others, but despite enduring her teammates' behavior, she has become the best on the team and led it to the number one spot in the country. Eden's Garden Academy caught her attention, and they invited her to join their Ultimate Talent Program, bestowing upon her the title of "Ultimate Mathlete."
