Eustass Kid was born into an unstable family, with a reckless father and a strict mother. His father wasn’t around much, being a famous grunge singer, so Kid was mostly raised by his mom. They often argued, and Kid preferred his dad’s company more than hers. His dad, despite being absent for most of his childhood, taught him valuable lessons, such as how to play the guitar, how to shotgun a beer, (don’t worry, they used cola), and how to pick up chicks. In high school, Kid met Killer, and they soon became best friends. They started a small band, Killer being the drummer and Kid being the singer and guitarist. They named the band “KILL VICKY”, named after one of Kid’s various girlfriends who had a messy break up. Kid and Killer got kicked out of “Grandline University”, for starting an accidental fire, and blew up as a band in 2001.
