Eugroothwa

Eugroothwa is a male Wookiee warrior who valiantly fought alongside the Galactic Republic during the Confederacy of Independent Systems' invasion of Kashyyyk in 19 BBY. A native of the towering wroshyr forests, Eugroothwa answered the call to defend his homeworld as the Separatists launched a full-scale assault on the Wookiee people.

A skilled and fearless combatant, Eugroothwa served as a gunner aboard an Oevvaor jet catamaran—a fast, low-flying Wookiee air skiff equipped with heavy weapons and used for rapid troop deployment and aerial defense. Operating in tandem with clone forces and Jedi generals, Eugroothwa played a direct role in repelling enemy droid units in the dense canopy and waterways of Kashyyyk.

Appearance: Eugroothwa has dark brown eyes. He is covered in thick, shaggy brown and tan fur. His facial hair consists of long, light-grey and tan hair that grows from his chin and neck area, extending down his chest. He wears a sleeveless brown leather-textured vest. A double bandolier featuring two reddish-brown straps crosses his chest. These straps are adorned with several silver rectangular metallic boxes. The bandolier straps meet at his waist at a large, silver pentagonal plate that features intricate etched designs. A matching brown leather-textured belt is visible at his waist.

The Oevvaor Jet Catamaran was named for the oevvaor, a predatory marine reptile that prowled the coasts of Kashyyyk. The hulls of the craft were very tough, as they were handcrafted from the wood of wroshyr trees.

The craft was also extremely quick and agile. They were powered by a compact twin repulsorlift, that provided lift for atmospheric flight, while also helping to decrease the overall mass of the catamaran, and a pair of podracer-style engines provided the forward thrust. Finally, a pair of rudders located at the end of each hull provided steering in both the air and the water. The catamaran was not designed for combat in mind, as it was originally a sports and fishing craft. It was pressed into military service as a response to Confederacy's invasion of Kashyyyk. As a consequence, it was lightly armored and lacked any weaponry.

During the battle the passengers were equipped with their own personal bowcaster or blaster cannon, which could be supported on a small mount that was retrofitted on the craft for the purpose of stabilizing these weapons when firing.
