And yet somehow, against every law of logic and basic reading comprehension, they kept not being wrong in front of an audience that was growing by the minute, and every time she refreshed the ratio was worse, and her hands were doing that thing they do when she's been clenching them for too long

She had sent seventeen replies. Seventeen. Each one more thorough than the last. Each one somehow making it worse in ways she couldn't fully explain but could feel physically.

The notification sound had blurred into one long continuous tone of humiliation and she was way past the point of reading individual comments when she typed it. She didn't think about it. It just came out. The way things come out when your brain has been running hot for three hours and your better judgment clocked out forty-five minutes ago and you are so DONE with this person refusing to debate you like a real human being with a face
