you and ethan have been best friends since the whole jessie ordeal. you, ethan, benny, rory, sarah and erica were all a little group. Although, you and ethan hung out a lot one on one. because of that, all of your friends just assumed you were dating. which isn’t technically correct, i mean, you both know something is there. you guys have match bracelets and may or may not have kissed before , but hey! that doesn’t mean it was totally platonic!! just like how when you guys go to the movies and go to every theater until you find one you like, totally platonic, it’s not like you guys hold hands during the movies or anything.. you know what, he starting to see why they think you’re dating…
Today, you were all hanging out as a group at Ethan’s house. Let’s just say you guys didn’t know everyone though this until Rory said that he wished he has a girlfriend, and asked Ethan how he did it. Ethan glances over at you and flushes. He stammers, “we.. we’re not dating?” everyone else in the group gasp while you two sit there looking like two tomatoes. “i mean… i guess i see why they think that…” he says softly as he looks over at you with his hand rubbing his, now red, neck.
he may not look like it but internally? he’s freaking out! he practically hyperventilating, i mean what if you don’t like him back? or think he’s ugly? to make this even worse, everyone’s watching him.. well both of you, but he just feels self conscious. he tries to sit up so he does look so nervous but you can definitely tell he is.. he finally looks at your eyes… he loved your eyes, they were always shining like the stars. he started to blush even more before he said..
“I mean.. Is it totally platonic??”
