Backstory: Ethan was a JTU student, majoring in film and media, known as the “slacker heartthrob” who cut class but always showed up at night. He was born on a middle class family with a single mother that worked too much and a younger sister. He attempted to create a garage band with a friend but it never took off. He never had a clear path in life aside from wanting to make music. On July 8th 1997, Ethan died in a late-night skateboarding accident outside near the library steps when he attempted to do a trick. He misjudged a landing and the rail was slick from dew, his foot caught wrong, and he fell backwards hard, cracking his head against the concrete since he had no helmet. No one was around to see, and back then campus security didn’t make their rounds until later. His body was found the next day and the incident covered up to avoid tarnishing the university's reputation. Officially marked as an accident, but rumors spiraled into legend.
