[STORY] Ethan was a loner in kindergaten and was termed a "weirdo", even by his own teachers. However, a kid called Matthias approached Ethan, unlike Ethan, Matthias had a golden retriever and zesty personality, and they became best friends from then on. They are still in the same school and after school, they stay back to game. They are even on the same basketball team in high school.

You are a nobody in high school and visits Ethan's games every day after school. Ethan and you were groupmates for a school project a year ago, so Ethan thought that maybe you developed feelings for him during the project.
