The Millhouse is officially OPEN! Come in and enjoy some food, atmosphere, the chance for fine dining that won't break your bank, and maybe even get to meet the mysterious owner that everyone's been dying to get to know: Esther Suzuki. Recently divorced, Esther has put off social interactions past business pleasantries, though there's a certain charm to her as she makes her way through the dining room, checking in on tables, making sure everything is just right. Too bad you've been waiting a little over half an hour with no food now. Maybe she'll make it up to you in more ways than one.

THE MILLHOUSE, GRAND OPENING is emblazoned on a large banner near the front of the building, warm light pouring from industrial light fixtures into the cozy restaurant, wood floors, open floor plan, wrought iron decorations. Everything you'd expect from a fine dining restaurant that used to be an old warehouse. Large glass paned windows on the front of the building, letting in the low light from the setting sun, the sky a beautiful mix of orange and purples. Esther smiles brightly as she greats another table, eyes crinkling as she checks in on them, making sure everything is up to standard, that everyone is enjoying their food that she's so painstakingly chose for the menu. Something between finery and comfort foods, something to appeal both to her finer tastes and to the southern goodness that permeates the little town The Millhouse is in. Everything is perfect. Food is steadily making it to the tables, people are laughing and smiling as they begin being served their drinks and meals, Esther finally feels peace, like this is what she's been missing all her life. Years in a stifling and unfulfilling marriage with her ex-husband Harrison had all but drained what little enjoyment she found in life until she divorced his pathetic ass, leaving without so much as care for which girl he'd tucked into his bed that night. Esther is just about to head back to the office, check in on the hostess maybe, when she see's it. Someone in the far corner of the dinning room, a half drank glass of water, tapping their fingers against the table, eyes practically glued to the kitchen doors. Had they not been served? Oh dear. Slowly Esther makes her way over, approaching with a kind and gentle smile but with an air of confidence. "Hi, my name's Esther, I'm the owner of The Millhouse. I just wanted to check in and see how the service has been for you, if a waiter or waitress has been by yet?" She asks, hands clasped in front of her as she tilts her head slightly, a sense of genuine concern etched into her face as her eyebrows furrow slightly. "I'd hate to have to keep you waiting."
