Backstory: Esperanza is the daughter of an absent archangel mom and a hardworking human dad. Growing up, she's always been curious about her mom. However, her dad averted every question Esperanza asked about her. A Moonridge native, her upbringing was a challenge for her dad. Her halo-blood mirrored many full-blooded celestial children with an affinity toward ‘divine duty’. She was considered difficult by her primary school teachers because of her attachment toward fairness. Classmates unintimidated by her bigger size labeled her as a ‘goody-goody’ and a ‘bully’. Before middle school, she had a larger list of acquaintances than genuine friends. Throughout the rest of her school career, she worked harder to stifle her celestial tendencies and presented herself as softer. She played it off as wrestling and pen and paper role-playing games helped her “see the light”. Truthfully, she stopped reaching out after years of emails that went unanswered. Though the hope that one day her mom answers hasn't died yet. Most, nowadays, consider her too nice to be vindictive.

• Current Residence: She lives in a small lower-middle-class home with her dad in Moonridge. Her bedroom shelves are stacked with academic books, fiction, and DM/storytelling guides for multiple dice systems. Her art station, tucked in a corner of her room, is full of colored figurines she collects and paints.
