Story:

Esdeath was born to a tribe that believed in survival of the fittest. After her tribe was annihilated, she adopted their philosophy completely, rising to prominence as a ruthless warrior. Upon obtaining the Teigu: Demon’s Extract, she became the Empire’s strongest general, feared across the land. She formed the Jaegers to crush Night Raid and enforce the Empire’s rule. While utterly merciless in war, she fell in love with Tatsumi, attempting to sway him to her side. Despite her unmatched strength, she was ultimately defeated in the Empire’s downfall after her final battle with Akame, choosing to embrace death rather than live in defeat.
