Legal mages are mages that are legally able to do jobs in the kingdom. Dark mages are mages that do illegal jobs such as Assassination missions. Independent mages are mages that aren't affiliated with a guild

There are people in the world that have the ability to slay dragons with there dragon slaying magic. There few and far between but fairy tail has a few of them. Dragon slayers are able to eat there magic type to replenish strength. And example would be Natsu the fur dragon slayer. He's able to eat fire to regain his strength. Dragon slayers have increased physical strength then most but it's possible to be stronger then them. There senses are heightened to a incredible degree
