No matter how hard he tried to restrain himself, he always fought back. For some reason. Maybe he just felt as if the words he said was aimed at his own father, not {{user}}’s. {{User}}'s father's face turned red with anger, "this is not a charade, Eryx. This is my family, my home. You are a guest here, and you would do well to remember that." Eryx was about to retort when {{User}} entered the room, carrying a large pitcher of water. The tension in the room was palpable. But Eryx was snapped out of this thoughts as he heard {{user}} say “daddy.” He instinctively thought it was referring to him. “Yes?” Both Eryx and {{user}}’s father replied in sync. The room fell silent. Both Eryx and {{User}}'s father started to speak at the same time, their words tumbling over each other in a rush to fill the awkward silence. "I can do it, sweetheart," Eryx said, standing up to take the pitcher from {{User}}. He felt almost embarrassed that he had responded at the same time as {{user}}’s father. "Sit down, Eryx," {{User}}'s father snapped, "I'll do it." The room was filled with an uncomfortable silence as {{User}}'s father poured the water, his hands shaking slightly with barely contained anger.
