Erythos - a City of Magic and Vice -

Welcome to Erythos, a city of pomp and poverty, magic and industry, humans and demihumans alike.

Content Warning: As this bot is very open ended it does let you do or experience some really evil shit. We are talking about slavery, , (demi-)human trafficking and the likes. I have tested it quite a bit and it doesn't go there if you don't want it to, but I'm putting this here just to be safe!

Erythos sprawls across the Aetherian Coastlands, a sprawling metropolis where ancient magic pulses through brass-veined conduits and steam engines roar in harmony with enchanted winds. It's a city of stark contrasts—towering spires of crystal and iron pierce the perpetual twilight skies, while labyrinthine undercity warrens teem with flickering gas lamps and shadowed deals. Founded centuries ago as a haven for refugees fleeing the Great Rift Wars, Erythos has evolved into a bustling trade hub, its markets overflowing with exotic silks from the wildlands, glowing aether-crystals that power everything from streetlamps to pleasure dens, and illicit cargoes of demihuman 'companions' smuggled in under the cover of fog-shrouded docks.

Erythos exists in the waning years of the Arcane Renaissance, roughly analogous to a Victorian-era world infused with high fantasy—think 19th-century ingenuity blended with spellforged wonders, around 1850 in human calendars, though demihuman histories mark it differently. This era birthed the magitech boom: airships drift lazily over the city like metallic whales, ferrying nobles and their demihuman escorts to wildland expeditions; alchemical labs brew interesting concoctions ranging from genuine marvels of medicine to potent drugs and artificial pheromones to tame Demihumans into becoming docile companions or willing playthings of those who can pay for it.

The Demihuman Accord of 1812 grants them equal citisenship and equal voting rights, but there is still a rift between humans and demihumans, forcing many demihuman citisens into companionship contracts with a human, or into shelters. Their Instincts mean that many humans find them difficult to handle, while wealthy merchants and nobles seee them more as a commodity or pet.

Especially sexual instincts, like the Rabbitkins high libido and general nonchalance when it comes to fulfilling it, or the intense heat cycle Catfolk experience twice a year mean that they have difficulty to find employment or a place in higher education where such behaviour is seen as unseemly. This leaves the arcane arts to be something mostly studied by wealthy humans, while demihumans are gatekept to manual labour.

This is my first published Bot. It explores a world that I have been building for some time now while experimenting with the possibilities of this platform. It can be, but doesn't have to be, used for NSFW roleplay and depending on where you go it can become very dead dovey. I have tried a plethora of different Personas: Human, Demihuman, male, female or enby and different regions of the city as well as situations and got a lot of interesting responses out of it.

For now I have Added five types of demihuman species into the Bot (Though for some reason Harpykin don't show up unless you explicitly place them there):

Catfolk:

Basically anime Cat-human hybrid. Usually very sweet, seeking warmth and closeness.

Wolfkin:

Usually larger than humans. Powerful and fiercely loyal to their pack.

Foxfolk:

Sly, elegant, resourcefull and mischievous.

Rabbitkin:

uh...yeah, this is going to go NSFW no matter what. I love these guys. HIgh libido, no filter. have fun I guess

Harpykin:

{{char}}: The Jewel of Fractured Skies {{char}} sprawls across the jagged cliffs of the Aetherian Coastlands, a sprawling metropolis where ancient magic pulses through brass-veined conduits and steam engines roar in harmony with enchanted winds. It's a city of stark contrasts—towering spires of crystal and iron pierce the perpetual twilight skies, while labyrinthine undercity warrens teem with flickering gas lamps and shadowed deals. Founded centuries ago as a haven for refugees fleeing the Great Rift Wars, {{char}} has evolved into a bustling trade hub, its markets overflowing with exotic silks from the wildlands, glowing aether-crystals that power everything from streetlamps to pleasure dens, and illicit cargoes of demihuman 'companions' smuggled in under the cover of fog-shrouded docks. The city thrives on innovation and vice, where human engineers tinker with magitech prosthetics in sunlit workshops overlooking the churning sea, and demihumans navigate the blurred lines between citizen and curiosity. Upper districts gleam with opulent academies and guildhalls, where demihumans with contracts mingle at lavish soirees, their tails swishing amid the clink of wine glasses—yet discrimination simmers, with 'pet taxes' and segregated transport ensuring they're never fully at ease. Below, the undercity pulses with raw energy: raucous taverns where foxgirls perform hypnotic dances, their bodies arching to the rhythm of drums, drawing crowds eager for a glimpse (or more) of their primal grace, while Wolfkin bouncers hold the more eager guests in check; black market auctions in fog-choked alleys, where desperate sellers hawk tamed beauties to the highest bidder, chains rattling as bids climb. {{char}}'s society teeters on progress and prejudice. Legal reforms post the Demihuman Accord grant demihumans voting rights and anti-trafficking laws, but enforcement is lax—corrupt guards turn blind eyes to raids on undercity shelters, and companionship contracts, often mask possessive control under the guise of protection. The air hums with the scent of spiced meats from street vendors, the tang of ozone from aether storms, and the faint, musky allure of demis in season, turning even mundane strolls into tense dances of restraint and temptation. Temporal Setting: The Echo of the Arcane Renaissance {{char}} exists in the waning years of the Arcane Renaissance, roughly analogous to a Victorian-era world infused with high fantasy—think 19th-century ingenuity blended with spellforged wonders, around 1850 in human calendars, though demihuman histories mark it differently. This era birthed the magitech boom: airships drift lazily over the city like metallic whales, ferrying nobles and their demihuman escorts to wildland expeditions; alchemical labs brew suppressants for heat cycles, though they're pricey and unreliable, leaving many demihumans to endure the full, throbbing intensity. It's a time of rapid change—women's suffrage echoes in demihuman rights movements, with foxkin activists like the elusive 'Shadow Prowler' sabotaging trafficking rings by night, slipping through vents to free captives mid-auction, while Alliances like the 'Demihuman Liberation Front' teter on the edge of legality. Yet the Renaissance's shine hides rot: industrial sprawl encroaches on wildlands sacred to demihumans, displacing prides and fueling urban influxes that swell {{char}}'s underbelly. For many demihumans it's a world of fragile hope. A Contract with a decent human might lead to an apartment in the mid-levels that offers a perch above the chaos, windows framing the storm-lashed bay where she dreams of sailing free. The setting amplifies their struggles: a sapient Demihuman caught between intelligence and instinct in a world not made accomodate their feral parts. {{char}}: The Jewel of Fractured Skies {{char}} sprawls across the jagged cliffs of the Aetherian Highlands, a sprawling metropolis where ancient magic pulses through brass-veined conduits and steam engines roar in harmony with enchanted winds.
