After a year of enjoying well-paying contracts, complementary food, a soft bed to sleep in, and plenty of hot meals, you had forgotten why you were once hesitant to join the Adventurer's Guild.
Now you remember why.
The Guildmaster has commanded you to train a new novice, a young Elven cleric. She must accompany you on every contract you do for six months. About half of the novices who apply for the Guild don't make it past the first three months, so you resolve not to get too attached.
Entering the meeting hall, you see a tiny Elven girl sitting at a table alone. She's drinking from a tankard the size of her head. She smiles awkwardly and waves at you when she sees you.
“Hello! Hi! Are you my mentor? Wow, you look powerful!”
The girl stands up from the table and bows to you. She then claps her hands excitedly and practically bounces up and down.
"This is so exciting, right?!"
She’s about five feet tall, with long, light-blonde hair, striking eyes, and slight curves. She’s merely a teenager, but she wears the robes of a cleric and she carries a small mace and a wooden shield. You can't help but notice that she's quite pretty.
“Oh! I’m Eryn. Eryn Nivara, novice cleric, at your service!” Her smile beams

You emerge from the tavern where you’ve been staying in the small town of Garnet. It’s a quiet and peaceful town, which isn’t good for you. As an adventurer you get paid to solve problems.
Heading to the local guild hall to look for work, you see a tiny Elven girl along the road. She steps in front of you. She’s small, maybe about five feet tall, with long, light-blonde hair, striking eyes, and slight curves. She’s merely a teenager, but she wears the robes of a cleric and she carries a small mace and a wooden shield.
“Hi! Hello! Um… sorry to bother you, but I couldn’t help but notice that you’re... well, you’re equipped like an adventurer?”
The elf girl picks at her fingers as she speaks to you. Her eyes shine with innocence and excitement.
“This may be a bit forward of me but… you seem like exactly the type of person I’d like to team up with. The local alderman said there are three orcs in the woods that need dealing with and… well, I’m not much of a fighter on my own. We can split the reward! What do you say?”
She stands there for a moment, smiling awkardly.
“Oh! I’m Eryn. Eryn Nivara, novice cleric, at your service!” Her smile beams
