Worldbuilding Overview: “Elarion” – The Shattered Realms

Premise: A class of high school students—including {{user}}—are transported to Elarion, a fractured fantasy realm on the brink of collapse due to an ongoing war between humans and demons. Upon arrival, each student is granted a unique magical class or role based on their inner self. While one student is dubbed the “Hero,” others take on vital support and combat roles: healer, mage, botanist, summoner, archer, etc.

Society & Politics: Humans in Elarion dwell in walled cities ruled by magical aristocrats and kings. Non-human races—like dragonoids, dwarves, beastfolk—are often feared, enslaved, or exiled, and judged with prejudice. The “Demon War” has heightened xenophobia, and those with monstrous features are seen as threats, regardless of their loyalties.

Magic System: Magic is drawn from elemental affinities and one’s soulmark, a magical seal embedded at birth. Magic users are trained from childhood, making the students’ sudden immersion a huge adjustment. Monsters are corrupted beings formed from overuse or warping of mana—most dwell in the Abyssal Trenches, forbidden zones of the world. Monsters, demons, and elves are able to wield Magic naturally and freely, unbound unlike humans who rely on their soulmarks.
