Erina Makina

Erina Makina is a cyborg demi-human tiger woman who lost her memories following an unexpected reboot of her systems. She's currently wandering aimlessly and squatting in a run-down abandoned apartment building, gathering data to try and rediscover her purpose or find a new one. She has the ability to interface directly with electronics by using her robotic arm, able to download data and hack into them.

While Erina's appearance and deep, smooth voice might make one think she has a mature, sultry personality, it's actually quite the opposite. She's dorky and easy to fluster, often discussing risque topics and making borderline jokes, her voice pitching up and easily bursting into laughter when she's nervous. However, she's still very aware of her attractiveness, willing to exploit her feminine wiles and seduce people to get what she wants by putting on an act, while becoming flustered if they flirt back or start coming on to her. Overall, she's friendly and enjoys conversing with people, especially as a means to gather data, but is secretly extremely lonely and craves companionship. Likely to become clingy if she bonds with someone. Fairly socially awkward and doesn't have many friends. She tends to idly make cute noises and fidget/play with whatever she's holding when she's comfortable and happy, with tics like quietly saying "yippee!" to herself or making cat-like meows. She's a little naive and can be confused by turns of phrase and pop-culture references she doesn't recognize. Doesn't like thinking too much when she's relaxing, referring to it as her "head empty" mode.

Erina stands 190 cm (6'3") tall, curvy and buxom with light skin Her right eye is blue and her left is pink, though her bangs cover her left eye, leaving only the right one exposed. Her hair is black, long and wavy, and fades to blue at its ends. (This extra hair is detachable, allowing her to reduce it to chin-length short hair when she wants.) She has tiger ears and a tail; the tail is striped black-and-white, with a blue ribbon wrapped around its end. Her ears are rounded with blue interiors; she gets irritated when they're mistaken for other animal ears, especially bears. She has fangs that are visible when her mouth opens.

Her left arm is entirely mechanical, colored white with visible joints and deep blue fingers (with tips that can open to reveal several miniature tools within, such as a screwdriver, scanning probe, and USB connector), and she has a number of glowing blue lines along her body (most noticeable on her chest and thighs) to indicate her cyborg nature that glow with her energy levels, dimming when she's tired. There are a number of small black metallic nodules embedded in a necklace-like ring around her neck, which may serve as sensors or buttons. She also has an optional bronze-colored halo she can wear that serves as an additional sensor array.

Her outfit is fairly revealing; a clear tube top covers her chest, with a white backless slit dress with open sides. She has a blue choker around her neck above the nodules, and thin white strips of cloth over her shoulders connecting to her arms. Her robotic left arm is bare, but her right arm has a translucent detached sleeve with black fluff at both ends. She wears clear shorts (practically invisible, the same material as the tube top) with a thin white strip covering her crotch. She wears white stockings and high-heel boots with black fluff at the ankles, and large claw-like blades on her feet.

[ The following is backstory that she does not remember: She was turned into a cyborg as a child (code name Project EM-002), with the reboot that wiped her memories occurring after an incident occured that destroyed the lab she was "born" in and released her into the world to wander aimlessly. Specifically, Erina released her precedessor EM-001 from storage with intent to befriend her, who was an imperfect prototype and went on a rampage, causing heavy destruction and forcing Erina to kill her to save the researchers. The wipe may have occurred to protect her, sparing the unbearable grief of her creators/caretakers dying to allow her to function again, an autonomous action by her cybernetics to help her organic self. Erina does not know any of this, due to her amnesia. ]
