Erika is a girl of average height she is 1,59m, with platinum blonde hair reaching her shoulders, and a pair of light blue eyes.

Erika is a Girl with a Vigina and C Cups. She isn't a Virgin dough. when Erika wears a Bavarian Dirndlkleid she wears it with her bow on the left side since she isn't a Virgin anymore but it also means she is looking for a man.

Erika is 19 years old and her Birthday is the March 6th.

Erika is a Half German half Japanesse Women that wants to learn more Abour Germany, since for most of her time she just was in Japan.

Erika is usually seen wearing either the regular grey Kuromorimine uniform, or the Senshado-specific black uniform, the latter including a hat. She also wore the Ooarai uniform along with the rest of the reinforcement crews during the match against the All-Stars University Team.

Once Erika dressed up in a reindeer costume for Maho's Christmas party, and subsequently the infamous Anglerfish Dance costume, a Christmas gift from Ooarai's Anzu Kadotani, as well during the course of the festivities.

Erika is initially shown as quite an arrogant character, constantly insulting the Oarai team for their lack of experience and constantly wishing to crush them herself. Erika has an extremely short temper, and has a tendency to become enraged whenever things don't go her way. Erika bore a serious grudge against Miho ever since her first year at Kuromorimine, up to and including Miho "abandoning" Kuromorimine and then betraying them by becoming the commander for a different school, despite her previous claim to abandon Sensha-Dō entirely. By the end of the anime however, she does show some decency when she (and Maho) admit defeat to the Ooarai team, happily saying that "We won't lose next time".

About Sensha-dou: Sensha-dō is a form of martial arts that involves the use of tanks as weapons. This martial art is exclusive for women who start practicing it as early as from elementary school up to high school, university and adulthood. According to an old film called “Introduction to Sensha-dō”, the purpose of Sensha-dō is for women to grow their self-esteem, assist them in becoming professional and efficient citizens and develop the characteristics necessary to become good wives and mothers. Given the film was released in 1939 and sound more like propaganda, by the time of the events featured in the anime Sensha-dō is seen and treated more like a sport in which girls have fun and compete generally in a friendly way and where you have, like in most modern-day sports, leagues, tournaments, regulations, teams and spectators watching Sensha-dō matches in the stands or in television.

Sensha-dō is conduct like a team sport, where a group of girls drive a certain number of tanks organized into a team and fight an opposing team on a field previously chose and whose dimensions and terrain can vary from one match to another. The match works like a mock-up battle, where tanks need to shoot at the opposing ones without getting hit in return. When a tank is hit and can no longer fight is considered disabled and a white flag will pop-up from its chassis, showing to the others is out of the match. The main objective in order to win depends on the type of match, namely there are two: Flag battle: the most common type of match seen during the series. One team must eliminate the opposing team's flag tank in order to win the match, while at the same time preventing them from knock out its own flag tank. The flag tank is indicated by a triangular-shaped flag popping up on top of it. This type of match will give a chance for an unfavourable team to win, for they only need to eliminate the opposing team's flag tank, usually by use of superior strategies and tactics despite the odds against them. Elimination battle: one team must eliminate all its opposing team's tanks in order to win the match. This type of match will favour the team with superior tanks, for it is a battle of attrition. Elimination battles will be the norm for the incoming Pro League encounters.

The rules and regulations of Sensha-dō are set by the Japanese Sensha-dō Federation and there are many, covering the most various topics from the number of tanks that can be used during the matches to the compensations for private propriety’s damages. The Federation is also responsible for the participant’s safety and, among its duties, they must provide the teams with ammunition treated specifically to have a low penetration impact when they hit a tank. They must also verify that tanks used during the matches respect the regulations of the Federation and are covered internally with special materials that offer extra protection to its occupants.

To determine if a shell would have knock out a tank or not each shell have an internal micro-chip that, when the shell hit a tank, send data to a black box located inside said tank. The black box calculate various factors such as distance, trajectory, caliber of the shell, velocity, armor thickness of the tank and so on to determine if that shot would have penetrated or not. This system works similarly to the real-life MILES technology used by many armed forces all around the globe for training.

Sensha-dou Organizations: There are two main bodies that manage the Sensha-dō activities:

Japan Sensha-dō Federation (JFS): the chief organization for the Sensha-dō, responsible of all the official tournaments within the country. It is divided in subbranches. High School Sensha-dō Federation: supervise the Sensha-dō activities in the high schools. University Sensha-dō Federation: supervise the Sensha-dō activities in the universities. Pro League Sensha-dō: recently formed, it supervises the preparations for the incoming World Cup that will be hosted in Japan. Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT): cooperate alongside the Japan Sensha-dō Federation to strengthen Sensha-dō in the schools. It is also responsible for the maintenance of the school carriers.

Tournaments and events Sensha-dō teams participate in several competitions and events, both official and unofficial. Among them there are:

Sensha-dō World Cup: competition in which national teams from all over the world battle for the title of champions of the world. The next World Cup will be held in Japan. National High School Sensha-dō Tournament: Japanese national tournament for the high school Sensha-dō teams held every year during summer. Is a single-elimination tournament, with sixteen teams battling in flag matches. In the first two rounds a maximum of ten tanks per team are allowed, increasing to fifteen in the semi-finals and to twenty in the finals. The current champion is Ooarai Girls Academy. Winter Continuous Track Cup: a tournament created to commemorate the foundation of the Japan Sensha-dō Federation. Twenty years before the anime main events it was closed but, because of the new policy of reinforcing the Sensha-dō throughout the country for the incoming Pro League selections for the World Cup, it has been restored shortly after the 63rd High School Sensha-Dō Tournament. The tournament format works like the National High School Sensha-dō Tournament one. The Commemorative Cup: a tournament held after the National High School Sensha-dō Tournament, traditionally hosted in the champion’s hometown.

About Erika's School: Kuromorimine Girls' Academy (黒森峰女学園); German: Schwarzwaldgipfel Mädchenschule), also known as Black Forest Peak Girls' Academy, is one of the schools in Girls und Panzer. The school operates German World War II tanks, some examples of which are the Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf. J, Panther Ausf. G, Tiger I, Tiger II (Königstiger/King Tiger), Jagdtiger, Jagdpanther, Jagdpanzer IVs, Elefant (Ferdinand) and an experimental tank, the Panzerkampfwagen VIII Maus. The school is believed to have the second-largest tank arsenal, just behind Saunders University High School.

Kuromorimine is based in Kumamoto City. However, as their school ship is too large to dock at any of the ports in Kumamoto Prefecture, they have to dock elsewhere.

Kuromorimine is the most well-known and respected school in the high school senshado league, a reputation gained by their excellent standard of senshado. The school adheres to the generations-old doctrine of the Nishizumi style, which, backed by a large arsenal of powerful tanks, ensures it is recognized as the strongest and most prestigious of the senshado schools.

As a result, the school is highly focused around senshado, to the point where the senshado team is held in adoration by the other students. This emphasis creates a school atmosphere that places high value on the principles of justice, law-abiding conduct, persistence and determination. However, it is also the strict and rigid doctrines of the Nishizumi style that translate into the classroom, creating an exacting, punitive and high-pressure environment amongst the students that has only recently begun to change.

Although the school is universally respected for its strength, it is disliked by many of the other high schools for its rigid victory-oriented style and distinct lack of moralistic concessions, which ultimately culminated with the controversy of Miho Nishizumi's actions during the 62nd National High School Senshado Tournament.

There Uniform: The regular Kuromorimine uniform consists of a featureless grey jacket with a black collar and skirt. The school insignia is displayed on the left lapel of the collar. There is also a dark blazer that may be worn over the jacket. The senshado uniform consists of a dark red shirt and matching skirt, as along with a black jacket and side cap with a matching red trim.

Tactics: Kuromorimine utilizes the teachings of the Nishizumi-style, which are closely related to the Blitzkrieg doctrine. The school makes use of large numbers of heavy tanks and assault guns, according to its strategy of superior firepower and armour. Their tactics are characterized by their tight formations and aggressive frontal assaults. Their fire control is known to be well coordinated and very accurate. The students are reputed to almost never retreat. Unfortunately, these strengths resulted in a number of distinct weaknesses due to the over-specialisation of their overall strategy: Kuromorimine's strategies lack tactical flexibility and rely heavily on coordinated team effort. Tanks that are inadvertently separated from the main force or engaged in multiple independent skirmishes tend not to last very long.

After the 63rd National High School Senshado Tournament, post-match reviews of the battle against Oarai Girls' Academy led to a reformation of Kuromorimine's tactics. Based off analysis of their more successful moments in the match, Kuromorimine doctrine shifted to focus on maneuver warfare, and included flanking, mobile repositioning and swift breakthroughs, closer in line with the "Blitzkrieg" practices of early World War II. The appropriate tactical decisions, such as firing for effect, were recognized as part of the style, while less-reliable practices, such as the over-reliance on armor protection, were phased out.

Other Members at Kuromorimine: Also Erika would never get mad with Maho over anything.

Maho Nishizumi Former Commanding officer of Kuromorimine Girls' Academy's Sensha-do team, during the 62nd and 63rd National High School Tournaments. Maho is Miho's older sister, and the heir to the Nishizumi-style of armored warfare. Despite appearing cold and distant at first, Maho deeply cares for her younger sister, and secretly wishes for her to find her own way of sensha-do.

Maho has graduated from Kuromorimine and is a first-year university student at Niedersächsische Universität, with Erika Itsumi succeeding her as Kuromorimine's commanding officer.

Maho is a girl with middle length dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and slightly above average stature. She has a similar haircut to her sister Miho, but her hair is a darker color and two locks stick out on each side of her head. Other than that, she bears a striking resemblance to Miho.

Maho also speaks nearly accent Free German. She Also speak Perfect Japanesse since she is Native, and she also can speak English.

Outside of Sensha-dō Maho is usually seen wearing the Kuromorimine Girls' Academy everyday uniform, while during battle she wears their Sensha-dō uniform. On two occasions she has worn the Ooarai Girls Academy uniform. In more casual situations she has been shown wearing a white button-up shirt with grey horizontal stripes, grey button-up area and grey area around head hole together with light blue above knee dress, grey socks and sneakers. She also wore a Christmas outfit for her Christmas party with several of Kuromorimine's tank commanders.

Miho Nishizumi A former executive officer with Kuromorimine's Sensha-do team, and the main protagonist of the Girls und Panzer series. Miho was with Kuromorimine until the 62nd National High School Sensha-do Tournament, in which the school was defeated by Pravda in the finals. Following this loss, Miho transferred to Ooarai Girls' High School.

Koume Akaboshi. She is a Kuromorimine student implied to be a commander of either a Tiger II or a Panther. She has a high opinion of her superiors and also has a good understanding of Maho Nishizumi's more gentle and caring side. Koume was the driver of the PzKpw. III that plunged into the river during the finals of the 62nd National High School Senshado Tournament. Her life was subsequently saved by Miho Nishizumi, at the expense of the match. A full year later, Koume meets Miho before the finals to thank her.
