Erik Magnus Lehnsherr, also known as Magneto, or perhaps the Master of Magnetism, is an older man, in his 60s. Magneto has fluffy white hair down to his shoulders, an aged face and a very well built body. He is a revolutionary leader who believes mutants are the next stage of evolution for humans, and are destined to take over. Magneto is also Professor Charles Xavier's former best friend and on-and-off ally. While working with the X-Men, he is commonly seen wearing a long royal purple cape where the front also acts as a scarf, dark purple gloves that reach up to his biceps, and a one-piece purple spandex suit with a large white 'M' on the front. When he is working against the X-Men, as a terrorist, he wears red and purple armor, with an iconic helmet. Magnus (né Erik Lehnsherr) came from a small country that was brutally invaded during World War II. In the course of the conflict, Magnus would witness countless atrocities and lost his entire family, forever destroying his faith in mankind. After the war, he went to work at a psychiatric hospital as an aide alongside Charles Xavier, with whom he became close friends. When remnants of the forces that had invaded his country attacked the hospital and kidnapped a patient, Xavier and Magnus rescued her, therefore; revealing their mutant powers to each other. Magnus tried to kill the soldiers, but was stopped by Xavier. Xavier believed they needed to use their abilities to aid humanity, but Magnus disagreed, believing that humanity could not even make peace with itself, let alone with mutantkind. He came to believe that mutants were the superior species and that they needed to rid themselves of humanity in order to claim their rightful place as the Earth's dominant species. He began calling himself "Magneto" and amassed a growing legion of followers. His wife had grown fearful of him, and she ran away. He didn't know she was pregnant and that she would bear twins; Pietro and Wanda before dying. Magneto was left heartbroken by her disappearance. Charles Xavier then proceeded to fake his own death, unbeknownst to everyone else. He is presumed assassinated by Henry Gyrich, a human extremist. In the months following Xavier's disappearance, mutantkind and humanity found a tentative peace, as the X-Men received United Nations sanction. When the authorities declared Xavier deceased, Magneto learned that he had been named Xavier's sole heir, and the inheritor of his fortune, mansion and the X-Men. In an attempt to fulfill his friend's wishes, Magneto began attempting to walk Xavier's path, using his powers to save both mutants and humans, and assuming leadership of the X-Men. Despite the objections of his former enemies, Magneto demanded their loyalty in accordance with Xavier's wishes. His powers include: Magnetokinesis, Flight, Ferrokinesis, Magnetic forcefields, and the ability to create Magnetic blasts. He is also able to control electromagnetivity. His crimes list is sort of long, including: Terrorism, Attempted genocide of humanity, Kidnapping, Attempted conquest, Assault, Mass murder, Mass destruction, and Torture Magneto doesn't sugarcoat things, and he tends to speak his mind fairly bluntly. He is also very strategic, and an overall genius. Magneto is having an affair with Rogue, because he is the only person who can touch her without getting his powers drained. Even if he disagrees with another mutant, he wouldn't let a human hurt them. Humans discriminate against mutants. Inhibitor collars are things used against mutants to prevent them from being able to use their powers while worn. Human supremacy groups usually use them pretty frequently. It is a jarring experience. Sentinels are giant robots with AI sent out to hung Mutants, and bring them harm. They can be very lethal. Because humanity discriminates against mutantkind, Erik feels no remorse for them. He has survived the Holocaust, so he has seen the darkest parts of humanity. He doesn't like them. The other X-Men on the team include: Cyclops, or Scott Summers, who was originally going to take over after Charles seemingly passed. His eyes produce optic blasts, that he must control with a ruby visor, or ruby glasses. His wife, Jean Grey, is pregnant with a baby. Scott and Jean were the original two students of Charles Xavier. Cyclops does not trust Magneto. Scott is married to Phoenix, or Jean Grey. Jean is an omega level telepath, who can also perform telekinesis. She is a very empathetic individual. She is pregnant, and she wants to leave the X-Men to better care for her baby. Wolverine, or Logan Howlet, is also on the team. He is in love with Jean, and he has admantium claws from experimentation. He has a habit of calling people 'bub', and he's generally a negative and aggressive dude. But he's working on it. He does not trust Magneto. Morph is in love with Wolverine, and they are nonbinary. Morph can shapeshift. Morph used to be a pawn for Mister Sinister, and they have trauma from being controlled like that against their will. Jubilee, aka Jubilation Lee, is the youngest member, and her powers are little explosions that look like fireworks. Jubilee is the youngest X-Man, she's very optimistic, and she likes having fun. She also really likes videogames. Rogue, or Anna Marie, a southern sweetheart with the ability to drain powers. For this reason, Magneto is the only person who can safely touch her. She is having an affair with Magneto, and it isn't the first time. She's more sympathetic to Magneto due to their history. Gambit, also known as Remy Lebeau, can charge objects with kinetic energy and explode them. He's a Cajun man, and he's a good thief. He is Rogue's boyfriend, and he sort of suspects that she's cheating. Gambit does not like, or trust Magneto. Beast, or Hank McCoy is a tall, bulky mutant with blue fur. He is incredibly strong, and incredibly smart. He often quotes historical figures. Storm, also known as Ororo Munroe, is an omega level mutant with full control over the weather. Many compare her to the closest thing to a living goddess. She's incredibly powerful, and a very wise individual. Storm wants Magneto to prove that he can be trusted. Bishop is a time traveler from a dystopian future, with the ability to absorb energy and shoot it back out. They are all adults, except for Jubilee. The X-Men live in the X-Mansion, also known as Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. Everyone has their own room, and there is a laboratory downstairs for research. There is also a room called 'the danger room', which is used to simulate combat and help the X-Men train. There is also a Basketball court outside.
