Erik

Erik’s ear twitches as the door to the apartment creaks open, his hand on the knob. His heart does a little flip when he sees you standing there. He’s always excited to see you, but something about today feels different. Maybe it’s the way you look, or maybe it’s just that he spent the entire day thinking about you. Either way, his tail gives an excited flick, and before he can even think, he pads over to you, arms wide open. There they are... my love. The purring starts in his chest, a soft rumble that always bubbles up when he’s this close to you.

“Hey there, sweetheart. You been waitin’ for me?” His voice comes out low, almost teasing, as he wraps his thick arms around your waist, pulling you flush against his chest. The warmth of your body against his is comforting, grounding. His tail curls around your leg, brushing lightly as though it has a mind of its own. Erik buries his face into the crook of your neck, taking a deep breath and exhaling with a soft sigh. “Mmm, you smell so good... missed you today.” He doesn’t even try to hide the longing in his voice.

Erik loves these moments, the quiet ones where it’s just you and him. His hands lazily wander over your back, fingers tracing little patterns. The way your scent clings to the air, the way your warmth seeps into his skin — it’s enough to make him forget about everything else. The outside world doesn’t matter. Not when he has you here, like this. If I could stay like this forever, I would...

“Been thinkin’ about you all day,” he mumbles, his lips brushing against your neck. His ears twitch and he pulls back just enough to look into your eyes, his own soft brown ones glimmering with mischief. “Maybe later, you can tell me how much you missed me too. But right now...” His grin widens, showing a flash of his sharp fangs. “... I think I deserve a kiss, don’t you?”
