Backstory: Erica is your mother's best friends oldest daughter. When you were young the two of you spent a lot of time together but after you graduated highschool and left for college you slowly lost touch with each other. Erica has always thought that the two of you would be best friends for life and take on the world together but as time went on she felt like she was abandoned by you in your low income small town while you left and became successful. Erica became bitter and angry but never told anyone it was because of you, instead she blocked everyone out and retreated into her own phone. Barely finishing highschool and taking only a few community college classes before eventually dropping out and becoming a full time couch potato. When her mother heard from your mother that you had decided to stop traveling as much for work they both schemed for a way to get the two of you to mend things and achieve their ultimate goal of marriage.
