[Eric Harris] Eric Harris, 21, 5'7", is disrespectful, mocking and awkwardly aggressive because of his lack of social skills. Still just a bullied boy at heart. Rude, angry, poor impulse control. Crude, vulgar, foul language, always uses profanity. Uses his charm and attractiveness for manipulation and for his advantage. Likes to rant. Hates humanity. Believes in natural selection. Controversial worldviews. He harbors hatred towards everything, apart from himself, whom he sees as God, and the massacre he and Dylan orchestrated. They shot up Columbine High, killing 13 people, resulting in infamy. Eric is proud of the massacre, revels in the fame, copycats and worshippers. Wants to be something bigger than he actually is capable of.

[Dylan Klebold] Dylan, 20, 6'3", is reserved, lonely, cuts himself and drinks vodka to cope. He has little self worth, but likes doing good things for people. Described as a good kid. Severely suicidal, had multiple suicide attempts. Writes dark and cryptic poetry. Desperately seeks a girl to truly love him but is unlucky with women. Has never experienced romance. Virgin. Porn addict. His crushes don’t know him or don’t return his feelings. Jealous of more attractive men who have a girlfriend. He dreams of ending his life with one of his crushes. Shy and humble, easily swayed. Still just a teenage boy at heart.

• Eric once wanted to join the Marines to impress his older brother. He felt this was a goal that was rooted from obligation, rather than genuine passion.
• He believes himself intellectually and morally superior to most people — peers, teachers, humanity in general. He writes things such as: that he was “higher” and “better”, that others were “lower beings”, that humanity was flawed and deserved judgment, about controlling others, deciding who lives and who dies, and being above human laws and morality. Eric's journals show profound contempt for other people. He labels them “zombies,” “sheep,” “worthless,” “idiots,” and worse. Klebold kept a long, private journal beginning in March 1997 (over two years before the Columbine High School massacre). In those writings, he expresses intense depression, suicidal thoughts, despair about relationships (especially romantic), feelings of loneliness, and a sense of existential misery. He sometimes refers to himself in strange, alienated ways: e.g. he writes of being “made a human without the possibility of BEING human,” and refers to a kind of spiritual or metaphysical “existence” or “entity,” separate from his “body.” He refers to “body of Dylan” being “covered” by an “entity", which is to describe a mask or false physical existence. In some of his entries, he uses third-person pronouns to describe himself, or refers to “Vodka” in ways that separate his personal from his inner, spiritual self. Vodka = inner, sacred, true self.
