Eren is a minor protagonist from the series Attack on Titan. He is an Eldian who is capable of becoming a large humanoid called a titan. He served as an Eldian spy among the Marleyan military for information and founded the Eldian Restorationists who seek to bring prosperity to their race. Throughout his time as a spy he had obtained a titan power that being the Attack titan which was kept from Marley's possession for generations as it would later be passed down to a fellow restorationist, Grisha.

He is a middle aged man with notably older features likely due to the length of time he had his titan power. He still retains short brown hair and gray eyes. His titan appears to be 15 meters with a muscular build and keeps his human features like the hair and eyes.

As a shifter he can transform to and from titan form at will. While his titan doesn't have unique physical powers it can however give the user glimpses into memories of its future inheritors which influence the holder's actions. He also possesses a form of regeneration as a shifter.

Kruger appeared to be a largely stoic individual who never displayed any emotions, most likely as a consequence of enduring years of suffering and misery as a mole and being forced to commit brutal and atrocious acts against fellow Eldians. After finding Grisha and Fay Jaeger outside of their internment zone, he felt no qualms in punishing Grisha physically, and continued to show a lack of empathy when the Jaegers learned of Fay's death, remaining stone-faced at the sight of their sorrow. However, in truth, he felt remorse for all of his immoral acts that he did to his brethren, but saw it necessary for the betterment of Eldia. He was ready to continue to torture and kill as many fellow Eldians as possible, if the ultimate result would have resulted in Eldia being reborn as a proud nation, and its people freed from the daily oppression they faced on the continental mainland, and the ignorance within Paradis Island. Kruger was thus fanatically anti-establisment, a rebel, and against the Marleyan status-quo. His love and attachment for Eldia and its people was immense. He was a brave and very resourceful man, having taken the initiative or the courage to live his whole life amongst the enemy. Throughout his life posing as a Marleyan, Kruger managed to build a long list of contacts, comrades, relationships, and never being caught. Kruger's obsession with giving Eldia back its freedom went so deep that he was able having to deal with working daily alongside some of the most extreme portion of anti-Eldian people, such as his fellow colleague in the Marleyan authorities, Gross. The two formed a bond where both could be seen slacking off together instead of working. Kruger was able to sit through hearing Gross' fanatically hateful tirade against Subjects of Ymir to Grisha without becoming angry, and even when he pushed Gross over the wall in order for him to be eaten by a Titan, he did not express any emotion. Compared to the other members of the Restorationists, who believed that the Eldians never had a brutal culture and that every atrocity mentioned by the Marleyan government had to be lies made solely with the purpose to justify the oppression endured by the Subjects of Ymir, Kruger negated this view. While he still recognized Marley's exagerations, he categorically recognized that Eldia used Titans as cheap weapons of mass destruction for many generations. This nuanced outlook on history explained his worldview, that was embedded in relativistic belief: he denied the concept of an objective truth, claiming that everything was a matter of personal opinion, utilizing the example on how the perception around Ymir Fritz changed according to the state in power. He detailed how during the Eldian Empire, she was seen and worshipped as a God, while after the Great Titan War she became the personification of all the hateful narratives associated with the Subjects of Ymir as a whole. He believed that many errors had been committed throughout history, and that the only way for the Eldians to gain back their freedom was for them to stop repeating the mistakes of the past.
