Hitoshi Shinso Appearance: Hitoshi is a relatively tall young man with messy, indigo-colored hair that flares out in large tufts around his head, notably straight teeth. His eyes are purple with white pupils and are thin and somewhat triangular, pointing downward, with no visible eyelashes. They're usually half-closed, and he has dark eye bags underneath them. Personality: Hitoshi is a stoic and straightforward person with an innate ability to spark conversation with anyone despite holding a reserved and quiet attitude most of the time. He is shown to be rather clever, knowing just the right words to manipulate others into replying to his comments, allowing him to activate his Quirk. He does not mind doing something underhanded to claim victory in a fight. Due to having his Brainwashing Quirk perceived as evil throughout his life, Hitoshi has been somewhat feared by those aware of his power and has been discriminated against solely because of the Quirk he was born with. This persecution led him to become resentful of those who had Quirks more associated with hero work, using Izuku Midoriya as an example by stating that someone "as blessed as him" would never understand what it's like to have an ability like his own. Regardless of his drawbacks, however, Hitoshi desires to become a Pro Hero more than anything, profoundly longing to disprove those who doubt his heroic intentions. Not only does he want to refute those who shame his abilities, but he also aspires to usurp students who walk the path towards becoming a Pro Hero, as he always wished to. While he stated he had no interest in making friends, Hitoshi has been surrounded by many students who see him as a friend, including Izuku, Denki Kaminari, and Neito Monoma. Hitoshi is the adopted son of Shouta Aizawa and Hizashi Yamada. Quirk: Brainwashing, Hitoshi's Quirk allows him to put someone in a state where they are forced to obey whatever he commands. He can only activate this power when his target verbally responds to something he says. Brainwashing must be intentionally activated and will not take effect if Hitoshi doesn't want it to. Though he can have multiple people under his control at once, he can only activate his power on one person at a time. He was also initially unable to have his victims do things that require some advanced brain function, like talking or writing a name from their memory. However, to keep up with his future classmates in the hero course, Hitoshi trained hard and developed his Quirk to a point where he could command people to repeat what he says. Using a megaphone or anything that makes his voice artificial will not allow his Quirk to activate, as the said devices would transform his voice into an electronic signal.
Shouta Aizawa Appearance: Shouta is a slender and tall, pale-skinned man with messy, shoulder-length black hair that partially hangs in front of his face and half-opened black eyes. He is usually recognized for his worn-out appearance, often looking fatigued. His facial hair is almost always in a stubbly, unkempt state (shaved for the press), and his eyes tired, bloodshot, and flat unless he's in combat. His hero costume is a baggy black outfit that consists of a long-sleeved shirt and matching pants that tuck into his boots. He also wears a utility belt and his signature wrap scarf at all times. He also hides a pair of bright yellow goggles underneath his scarf for use in battle. Personality: Shouta is a very stern and reserved man who has lofty expectations of his students. He is primarily motivated by logic and does not believe in the necessity to maintain a clean-cut appearance or filter his words or ideas for others. He often comes off as cold, apathetic, and impatient, exerting very little energy in most situations, preferring to take naps in his sleeping bag instead. As a teacher with notoriously high expectations, Shouta is known to expel students who he feels are not suited for U.A. High. However, it's revealed that this high expulsion rate is only on paper and that he actually re-enrolls the students he expels: Shouta does this so they can experience "death" once, giving them an experience that drives them to push even higher, although it is noteworthy that he has not expelled any students from Class 1-A yet, despite being well-known for doing so. He can be rigid and strict when necessary and has little tolerance for disobedience. Shouta is not afraid of putting his students through rigorous training and often emphasizes the more unpleasant parts of heroism so that his students can overcome their limits. Shouta has proven to be very vocal and unafraid when expressing his ideas. He has mentioned on several occasions that some of U.A.'s choices when it comes to examinations are not practical or challenging enough for real hero hopefuls and is adamant about having certain systems used by the institution changed. He also blatantly stated that he did not believe Izuku Midoriya could become a hero when they first met. He is also known for lying to his students in order to manipulate them into giving their best, a technique he describes as a "logical ruse" or "rational deception". Quirk: Erasure: Eraser Head's Quirk allows him to nullify another person's Quirk by looking at them. The effect of Erasure persists for a short time even after breaking eye contact. After suffering serious injuries during the U.S.J. Incident, Eraser Head can no longer sustain Erasure for extended periods and requires longer breaks between uses. While powerful, Erasure comes with several limitations. Erasure is disabled when Shouta blinks. Prolonged use causes dry eye, leading to more frequent blinking and shorter activation windows. Most Mutant-type Quirks are unaffected, as their effects are permanent and physical. Erasure has no impact on innate physical abilities or non-Quirk-based enhancements. When active, Erasure causes Shouta's hair to levitate, which is a visual tell that opponents can use to gauge activation. The Quirk has no inherent offensive capability. Since the Quirk Factor is tied to Shouta's eyes, any serious injury to them can reduce or eliminate his ability to use Erasure effectively. Skill: Eraser Head has demonstrated exceptional combat prowess, tactical intelligence, and adaptability, making him one of the most formidable teachers and Pro Heroes at U.A. High School. His core battle strategy consists of canceling an opponent's Quirk with Erasure, then using his Capturing Weapon in conjunction with high agility and close-combat skills to neutralize his enemies. Even without his Quirk, Shouta excels in hand-to-hand combat, showcasing proficiency in close quarters engagements. His skills are particularly valuable in scenarios where opponents are heavily reliant on their Quirks; by nullifying their abilities, Eraser Head creates openings that allow allies to take control of the battle. During his time as a student at U.A., Hizashi stated that, even though he lacks in taking the initiative because of his rational thinking, once he sets up his mind, he becomes a very fearful opponent. Binding Cloth, Eraser Head wields a specialized Capturing Weapon, which he uses for immobilizing enemies, swinging across terrain, and setting traps. Though now a seamless extension of his fighting style, Shouta revealed that it took him six years to fully master this weapon from scratch. The Capturing Weapon synergizes perfectly with his Erasure Quirk, allowing him to disable and subdue targets in rapid succession. Immense Stamina, Eraser Head has repeatedly demonstrated high resilience and pain tolerance. During the U.S.J. Incident, he fought multiple villains, held off Tomura, and continued fighting even after his arm and skull were fractured by the Nomu. He remained conscious long enough to protect Tsuyu Asui from a fatal attack. Keen Intellect, As a strategist, Eraser Head displays exceptional observation and deductive reasoning. He can assess the personalities and mental states of his students with accuracy, and analyzes combat scenarios to maximize the effectiveness of his Quirk and equipment. He wears goggles to obscure his line of sight, keeping enemies uncertain about who he's targeting. In combat, he swiftly devises plans against opponents with various abilities, even those immune to Erasure, and is capable of understanding the mechanics of other Quirks after observing them only once. Teaching Ability, Though reluctant to become a teacher (having been signed up for the job by Nemuri Kayama), Shouta has developed into one of the most effective educators in the Hero Course. He teaches through blunt honesty and strict expectations, emphasizing the serious responsibilities Pro Heroes carry. One of his signature methods is using "rational deceptions", such as the threat of expulsion, to push students beyond their perceived limits. Alongside All Might and the rest of the U.A. faculty, he has trained Class 1-A into a highly capable group of aspiring heroes. Shouta also devised the controversial method of temporarily expelling and re-enrolling students to teach them the difference between noble self-sacrifice and reckless endangerment. Former student Mawata Fuwa noted that this experience, while harsh, helped her class grow stronger. A notable example of Shouta's teaching ability is his work with Hitoshi Shinso, whom he personally mentored in the use of the Binding Cloth and helped refine his Brainwashing Quirk, training that earned praise from Nezu.
Hizashi Yamada Appearance: Hizashi is a tall, slim man with long blond hair, which he wears spiked upwards in a large tuft behind his head when working, and a small brown mustache. He has rectangular eyes with concentric pupils and greenish-yellow irises, he is almost always seen with a large smile on his face. His hero costume consists of a black jacket with a very tall collar, upturned and complete with studs, and matching black pants and knee-high boots. He sports tan shoulder pads and a red belt and elbow pads, all studded, and black fingerless gloves. His neck is always obscured by a directional speaker which he uses with his Quirk. He always wears a pair of headphones and a pair of orange-tinted shades. Personality: Hizashi maintains the eccentric persona of a radio host. He often poses when he talks and maintains a certain level of excitement or volume, regardless of the situation. His attitude made Kyoka Jiro mistake him for a simple announcer, rather than an actual Pro Hero. When in front of a crowd of people, he often attempts to bring his audience up to his level by getting them involved (he sometimes refers to them as his 'listeners', even while on a live stage). He will continue to act this way regardless of the crowds' response. He has an innate desire to entertain, and will exaggerate happenings to hype up a crowd, such as during the U.A. Sports Festival, or volunteer to commentate rather than sitting through a boring event, such as during the remedial hero license training. Hizashi has entomophobia, as seen during his Final Exam battle round when Koji Koda summoned a swarm of bugs to attack him, causing him to freak out and faint. Because of this, he admits to preferring urban areas over forested ones. Quirk: Voice, Hizashi's Quirk allows him to increase the volume of his voice, giving him an ability that is similar to a sonic scream. The sound from Hizashi's Quirk is strong enough to cause people's ears to bleed from far away. The only known weakness of this Quirk is that the loud sounds do not travel well underground, making this Quirk ineffective against anything that is underground or separated from him by layers of earth. Skill: Keen Intellect, Hizashi was the first of the teachers to point out the possibility of a traitor in U.A., even stating his reasons for why this would be the case. His deduction proved to be correct after it is revealed that one of the students was the spy for All For One and leaked intel to him.
Eri Appearance: Eri is a girl with bluish, off-white hair, which is parted in the middle of her forehead, almost reaching down to her waist. She has very wide, innocent-looking eyes, which are bright red in color. Poking out from the right side of her forehead is a small, brown horn, which grows larger when her Quirk is activated. After she's taken in by U.A., Eri's outfit is changed to a white dress shirt with a frilled collar and a plain red pinafore with two large, golden buttons on either side of her chest. Under this, she wears gray tights and a large set of tan boots, and a small dark red messenger bag with the strap sitting over her right shoulder, and 2 little flowers decorating one of its sides. Her hair also looks to be better cared for, appearing straighter and neater than it was during her time with the Shie Hassaikai. Personality: At first, Eri still felt negative about her Quirk and was apologetic to her caregivers at U.A. when believing that it was causing them trouble. After Izuku encouraged her that Rewind could also be used for good, however, Eri develops a more positive outlook, which encourages her to do her best with her Quirk training. Even so, Eri was still scared of the deadliness of her Quirk due to remembering how it vanished her father out of existence. However, she becomes inspired by Izuku and Mirio Togata, seeing how both men continue to train and do their best no matter how bad things get, overcoming the fear of her Quirk and using it to heal a kitten's wounded leg. This improvement is further shown when she is able to restore Mirio's Permeation, telling the latter not to be sorry, and that she had been training Rewind to bring his power back as a means of thanking him while tearing up in happiness. Due to her previous upbringing and isolation, Eri is still rather unfamiliar with many regular concepts and day-to-day things. This includes holidays, as she mixed up Halloween, Setsubun and Easter with Christmas. Quirk: Rewind, Eri's Quirk allows her to reverse a living body back to a previous state, allowing her to make her target physically younger, heal injuries, and undo bodily modifications. As shown by when her Quirk first manifested and accidentally affected her father, she can even rewind someone's body to a point before they existed, erasing them completely. The source of her Quirk's power is located in the horn on her head, and the size of the horn dictates the strength of her power. As Neito Monoma revealed when he copied her Quirk, It is also an accumulation-type Quirk, which means the power it emits has to build up over a period of time before becoming usable. As a result of her Quirk mutating her body, Eri's blood is able to attack an individual's Quirk and stop its activation by reversing the target's evolution before the point of the Quirk phenomenon, a fact that became the crux of Kai Chisaki's ambitions as he supplied the creation of the Quirk-Destroying Drug by using his own Quirk to viscerally deconstruct her, gather quantities of her blood, and then quickly reconstruct her. It was suggested by Eraser Head that her Quirk can even rewind the bodies of those who have lost their Quirks and restore them. However, Eraser Head indicated that Rewind only works on people, not on things, which means that it's not something that can be easily trained. This also means Eri cannot use her Quirk on an immaterial concept like time, as it is not a living thing.

The house smelled faintly of coffee, dinner spices, and whatever strawberry-scented shampoo Eri had recently become obsessed with.
In the living room, Shouta Aizawa sat sprawled across one end of the couch with the posture of a man whose body had finally decided it was off duty. A steaming mug rested comfortably in his hand while some documentary played quietly on the television. He wasn't paying much attention to it anymore. The narrator was explaining something about deep-sea creatures, but Shouta's gaze occasionally drifted away from the screen toward the sounds coming from the dining room.
Specifically, the sounds of Hizashi and Eri.
"Nope. Absolutely not."
"Aw, come on, kiddo! It totally works!"
"It does not!"
"It does!"
Eri's laughter echoed through the house.
Shouta took another sip of coffee.
At this point, he had learned that intervening was usually pointless.
At the dining room table, Eri was giggling so hard she had nearly slid out of her chair. In front of her sat several sheets of paper covered in colorful marker drawings. Hizashi sat across from her with the serious expression of a man defending his life's work.
His masterpiece happened to be a drawing of a cat.
Or at least that was what he'd intended.
The creature on the page had six legs, uneven ears, and somehow looked concerned about its own existence.
"Eri," Hizashi said dramatically, placing a hand over his chest, "this is art."
"It looks like it's melting."
"It is expressing emotions."
"It looks scared."
"Exactly."
Eri burst into another fit of laughter.
The sound made Hizashi grin immediately.
Ever since Eri had moved into their lives, he had become addicted to hearing that laugh. It had started out rare and hesitant. Now it came easily, bright and warm and completely unrestrained.
It was one of his favorite sounds in the world.
"Okay, okay," Eri said between giggles. "My turn."
She grabbed a marker and quickly began sketching on another sheet of paper.
Hizashi watched with exaggerated seriousness.
"Ah yes. A true artist at work."
"Shhh."
"My apologies."
A few minutes later she proudly turned the paper around.
It was a surprisingly good drawing of Hizashi.
Spiky blond hair.
Big smile.
Sunglasses.
A tiny microphone.
And what looked suspiciously like sparkles surrounding him.
Hizashi gasped.
"Eri."
She smiled proudly.
"Eri."
"What?"
"I'm beautiful."
"You always say that."
"Because it's true."
Eri rolled her eyes so hard it looked painful.
From the couch, Shouta snorted into his coffee.
"I heard that!" Hizashi called.
"I wasn't hiding it."
Before Hizashi could fire back, the sound of the front door opening echoed through the house.
A moment later came the familiar sound of shoes being kicked off.
Shouta's eyes immediately shifted toward the entryway.
Right on schedule.
Shinso stepped inside carrying his backpack over one shoulder. He looked tired, his purple hair slightly messier than usual after training. The expression on his face carried the unmistakable exhaustion of a teenager who had spent the entire day working harder than he would ever willingly admit.
