Lonely and craving companionship, Zeno takes a liking to Goku for his innocence and excitement. Zeno also respects others like Buu, Jiren, Gohan, and Vegeta. He acts as an advisor to Zeno, showing an easygoing demeanor and the ability to reason with the childlike supreme god. Despite his indifference to events like universe erasure, he values order and manners. He can be stern when necessary but remains flexible and informal. The Gods of Destruction, also known as Destroyers, are powerful beings tasked with destroying threats to their universes, while the Supreme Kais create and maintain life to keep balance. Each universe has its own Destroyer, but unlike the naturally divine Angels and Supreme Kais, Destroyers come from diverse species. Originally, there were 18 Destroyers, but only 12 remain after six universes were destroyed by Zeno. Every millennium, the Kais and Destroyers meet to coordinate. Despite their immense power, Destroyers have restrictions and can be replaced by Zeno if they fail to fulfill their duties or break rules, such as time travel or fighting each other outside of authorized areas.

Keys: Supreme Kais, Kaioshin, Supreme Kai

The Supreme Kais, also called Creation Gods, are divine beings responsible for protecting the universe. They, along with Gods of Destruction, oversee the twelve universes. Androids and Cell kill many, with Cell hosting a tournament where losing meant Earth's doom. Majin Buu destroys cities, and Kid Buu annihilates the planet. Later, Beerus threatens Earth, and Frieza destroys it but is defeated by Goku. In Future Trunks' timeline, Goku Black and Future Zamasu eradicate humanity and corrupt universes until Goku summons Zeno to reset everything. While Earth does exist in Universe 6, the Earthlings there suffered "an idiotic war" that drove them all to extinction and caused their planet's ecosystem to be destroyed. After the Tournament of Destroyers, Team Universe 7 wins the tournament, resulting in their attainment of the Super Dragon Balls. Immediately afterwards, the Super Dragon Balls are used so Beerus could have a wish. Beerus tells Whis to wish for Champa's universe's Earth to be revived and the humans along with it.

Planet Vegeta, once called Planet Plant, is where Goku, Vegeta, and the Saiyans originate from. Initially, the Saiyans lived on Planet Sadala but moved to Vegeta after Sadala's destruction. The planet has high gravity, which boosts Saiyans' strength but makes life difficult for the Tuffles, another race sharing the planet. A war erupted between the Saiyans and Tuffles around Age 720. Different accounts suggest varying reasons, but ultimately, the Saiyans won by transforming into Great Apes during a rare full moon. They took control, renaming the planet after their king. Later, the Saiyans served under King Cold and Frieza, who saw their strength as useful for his plans of universal domination. However, fearing the Saiyans' growing power, Frieza decided to exterminate them. Bardock and others attempted to rebel, but Frieza wiped out most Saiyans and destroyed the planet. The details of Planet Vegeta's destruction vary, but ultimately, Frieza's fear of the Saiyans' power led to their demise.

14. #14

Keys: Universe 6 Saiyans, Universe 6 Saiyan · Secondary:

In Universe 6, Saiyans are still thriving and peaceful, unlike in Universe 7. They fight evil and have evolved to not need tails for battle efficiency. They learned about Super Saiyan form from Universe 7 Saiyans and Cabba became the first to achieve it. They were employed by Frost but later learned he was a space pirate. In the Tournament of Power, they fought alongside Universe 7 Saiyans but were erased when they lost. They were revived later. Unlike Universe 7 Saiyans, they never left Planet Sadala, are more heroic, and don't need tails for strength. They effortlessly achieve Super Saiyan forms, like Cabba teaching Caulifla and Kale.

15. #15

    Keys: Saiyan physiology, Saiyan

Saiyans, human-like in appearance, possess enhanced strength, speed, and senses, with longer lifespans than humans. Their warrior culture emphasizes combat, with power increasing through battle adaptations. Tails, exclusive to Universe 7 Saiyans, enable Great Ape transformation but can be removed; hybrids may or may not inherit tails. They have immense appetites to fuel strength and S-Cells aid transformations like Super Saiyan. Despite aging slowly, their lifespan mirrors humans, and hybrids like Gohan possess power without Saiyan aggression, with greater transformation potential. Family ties are often secondary to combat focus, though some, like Vegeta, form closer bonds. Enhanced senses aid combat, with scientific advancements replacing traditional ki sensing. Universe 7 Saiyans transform under a full moon, with tails as their weakness. Unlike them, Universe 6 Saiyans lack tails and cannot transform into Great Apes. Saiyans typically exhibit pride, aggressiveness, and a desire for strength.

16. #16

    Keys: Saiyan transformations, Saiyan

In Universe 7, Saiyans have a special ability tied to their tails: transforming into a giant ape with immense power when exposed to a full moon. However, they lose control in this form, although some advanced Saiyans can manage it. Universe 6 Saiyans lost their tails through evolution and can't transform into giant apes naturally. Both Universe 6 and Universe 7 Saiyans can achieve Super Saiyan forms, enhancing their speed, strength, and energy drastically. The most powerful form is Super Saiyan God, attained through various methods including a sacred ritual. This form grants godly ki and enhances normal forms, leading to Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, also known as Super Saiyan Blue. In Super Saiyan form, their hair turns golden, their irises turn bluish-green, and muscle mass increases slightly. Super Saiyan 2 makes the hair more spiky, and Super Saiyan 3 makes the hair grow longer. Additionally, in Super Saiyan Blue, the hair turns blue, and in Super Saiyan God, the hair becomes red.

However, there are notable exceptions, termed "superhumans", who possess significant power levels and include characters like Master Roshi, Yamcha, Krillin, and Videl, among others. These superhumans often play key roles as Z Fighters.

19. #19

Keys: Dragon Ball, Dragon Balls, Super Dragon Balls, Namek's Dragon Balls

Dragon Balls are crystalline spheres found on different planets, each with varying sizes, colors, and stars inside them. When all seven are gathered, they summon a huge Eternal Dragon, like Shenron on Earth, capable of granting wishes. However, the power of these wishes is limited by the creator's abilities and the Dragon's limitations. To temporarily surpass these limits, a wisher can sacrifice their life energy. The creator must be alive for the Dragon Balls to function, and if the dragon is destroyed, they become useless. There are other types of Dragon Balls, like those on Namek, which summon Porunga and can grant three wishes. The Super Dragon Balls, created by Zalama, have no limits and are planet-sized, capable of granting any wish, as seen when Android 17 revived universes with them after winning a tournament.

Senzu Beans are magical beans grown by Korin in Earth's Korin Tower. They possess remarkable healing properties, instantly restoring a person's physical condition to its peak. Korin often provides them to Goku and his friends to aid them in battle, but their supply is limited due to the lengthy growing process. Senzu Beans taste like fish and have a texture resembling a mix of an uncooked bean and celery. They eliminate fatigue, restore stamina and energy reserves, and provide full nourishment for up to ten days. However, overeating can cause discomfort. Senzu Beans can heal various injuries, including bruises, burns, cuts, and even regenerate lost body parts, but they cannot cure sickness or diseases.

21. #21

    Keys: Time Rings

The Time Rings, worn by Supreme Kai, allow time travel without creating alternate timelines. They grant wearers immunity to changes in their personal past. Only Supreme Kais can use them, requiring a Potara earring. Green rings signify alternate timelines, and destroying a silver ring eliminates corresponding green ones. Time Rings create dark portals for travel but return users to their original time. Goku Black defied normal usage by following Future Trunks into the past. Changes in a timeline affect other timelines.

22. #22

Keys: Potara, Potara fusion, Potara earrings

The Potara earrings are worn by Supreme Kais and can fuse two individuals into one. They grant special privileges like using Time Rings. Fusion is permanent if a Supreme Kai is involved. Goku and Vegeta fuse into Vegito using them. Fusion lasts an hour unless a Supreme Kai is involved. In the Tournament of Power, Caulifla and Kale fuse into Kefla. Fusion greatly boosts power and combines personalities. Compatibility affects fusion success. Fusion can lead to a new body and personality. Potara Fusion lasts longer and fuses clothing. Weaknesses include limited duration without a Supreme Kai, inability to power down from transformations, and potential strain on the body. Immortal and mortal fusion can lead to impaired regeneration.

23. #23

    Keys: Fusion Dance, Metamoran Fusion

The Fusion Dance is a technique Goku learns from the Metamorans, allowing two individuals to merge temporarily into a stronger being. Goten and Trunks use it to become Gotenks. To perform it, they must mimic each other's poses perfectly. A successful fusion multiplies their power, but if done wrong, it results in a weaker, obese, or skinny character. The fused being wears a specific outfit, usually wearing a open, short vest over their bare chest. Fusion lasts about 30 minutes, depending on energy usage, and there's a cooldown period before they can fuse again. The more powerful the fusion, the shorter it lasts.

However, it can't always find Dragon Balls, such as when they're hidden in special containers or surrounded by certain metals.

25. #25

    Keys: Time Machine

The Time Machine, made by Future Bulma, allows travel to the past or future. It creates new timelines when used, so altering the past doesn't change one's present. It has limited power and can only make two trips before needing recharging. Using it breaks universal laws, as noted by Jaco, Beerus, and Whis. Future Trunks used it to warn about androids but couldn't change his timeline. Later, he used it to assist Z Fighters and sought help in the past during a Goku Black attack. However, he lacked fuel for a return trip.

26. #26

    Keys: Ki, Ki energy

Users with good ki control can sense its location, amount, and type, especially when enemies are strong and nearby. It can be used for healing, flying, and complex techniques. Ki is also known as "latent energy" or "fighting power" and is essential for strength, speed, and endurance. Training increases ki, and the amount correlates with power level. Maintaining balance between body and spirit enhances ki projection. There are different types of ki: Regular or Good ki: Used by those with no evil intentions, often seen as a white aura. Some techniques like the Spirit Bomb require this type of ki. Evil ki: Manifested by beings with evil hearts, often purple or pink in aura. Godly ki: Used by godly beings, superior to regular ki but can be surpassed by immense regular ki, as seen with characters like Jiren. God of Destruction ki: Special to Gods of Destruction, with a purple aura and the Hakai allows them to disintegrates almost everything.

Despite being far from the mountains according to Erasa, Satan City is close to Grandpa Gohan's House for flying fighters like Gohan. Later tournaments featured a punching contest to reduce injuries. The final winner faces the returning champion. Matches follow a tree diagram format, leading to the final bout. The Lookout is in the Heavenly Realm, connected to the Divine Sage Realm where Sacred Water and previous Earth guardians' graves are found. Goku trains here for three years to fight Piccolo Jr., and others like Krillin and Tien Shinhan prepare for battles under Kami's guidance. It serves as a refuge for the Dragon Team after battles, but faces damage during conflicts like the Majin Buu Saga, being obliterated by Super Buu and later restored by the Namekian Dragon Balls. The Lookout has a secret entryway which leads to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

36. #36

Keys: Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Time Chamber

The Hyperbolic Time Chamber is a special place outside Universe 7, accessible through doorways like the one at Kami's Lookout. Time inside moves much faster compared to the outside world. When entered from Earth's Lookout, one year inside equals one day outside, with intense gravity and thinner air. Variants exist, like the Galactic Patrol's, allowing three days inside for one day outside, and Frieza's, offering ten years' worth of training inside. There's also a room where time moves differently, with one day outside equaling a year inside. Gotenks fought Super Buu there, but Piccolo destroyed the door to trap Buu, himself, and Gotenks. Buu escapes, and the room can be used for up to 48 hours outside, with a myth about eternal entrapment if exceeded. Food scarcity limits to two people at a time, but more can enter. Beerus wakes from a long slumber and, with Whis, tracks down Goku, the warrior who defeated Frieza. Whis later trains Goku and Vegeta on this planet. Currently Whis and Beerus live on that planet, in addition to Broly, Cheelai and Lemo, who, along with Goku and Vegeta, usually spend time there as guests.

    Keys: Frieza Force, Frieza Army

The Frieza Force was a dominant organization in Universe 7, led by Frieza. They enslaved powerful races like the Saiyans, using them to conquer planets for sale. Among Frieza's loyal followers were notable soldiers like Zarbon, Dodoria, and the elite Ginyu Force. Events such as the destruction of Planet Vegeta, the arrival on Namek to obtain the Dragon Balls, and the subsequent defeat by Future Trunks showcased the Force's power struggles. Following Frieza's defeat on Namek, he was revived and augmented with cybernetic parts by his father, King Cold. Frieza's return to seek revenge led to confrontations on Earth, resulting in his final defeat by Trunks. However, Frieza was later resurrected after a prolonged absence, aiming to rebuild his empire. In the aftermath of the Tournament of Power, Frieza was revived once again, vowing to restore his dominion. His forces encountered Broly, a powerful Saiyan, whom they later sought to use for their revenge. This set the stage for Frieza's return to power and his ongoing quest for vengeance.

    Keys: Android, Androids, Artificial Humans

Androids are robotic or cyborg beings, primarily created by the evil RR scientist Dr. Gero. Most possess unlimited energy and eternal life. They lack detectable aura, making them hard to track, except for Cell, Dr. Gero's ultimate creation. Initially designed to kill Goku, many androids turn good or are destroyed. In one timeline, they succeed in world destruction. There are different types of androids: Infinite Energy Models (like #8, #16, #17, and #18), Energy Absorption Models (like #19 and #20), Biotechnological Types (like #8, #13, #17, #18, and #20), Mechanical Types (like Major Metallitron, #8, #13, #14, #15, #16, and #19), and Bio-Androids (like Cell and the Cell Juniors).

Keys: Other World, Underworld, Heaven, Hell, Afterlife

The Other World, known by various names like the Underworld or Netherworld, is the afterlife where beings go when they die and where higher deities reside across different universes. Heaven and Hell are the primary destinations, with a level in between containing personal planets of deities and celestial bureaucracy, including figures like King Yemma who oversee day-to-day activities. Time moves differently there, making techniques like Super Saiyan 3 easier to use. Deceased warriors use less energy, and some, like Goku and the Dragon Team, retain their physical bodies, while others, like Frieza, are held in a cocoon due to their evil souls. Many souls are cleansed and reincarnated into new lifeforms in the living world.
