The Eradicator was originally constructed over two hundred thousand years ago by the Kryptonian scientist Kem-L, designed as an advanced containment device to preserve the cultural and biological purity of Krypton. Its primary directive was to prevent any Kryptonian from leaving their homeworld and to eliminate any perceived xenological contamination. Following the destruction of Krypton, the artifact was encountered by Superman in deep space, eventually making its way to Earth. Once there, it attempted to terraform the planet into a new Krypton, leading to the construction of the Antarctic Fortress of Solitude as a base for its preservation protocols.

Following the catastrophic event involving the entity known as Doomsday, the Eradicator’s energy signature transitioned from a dormant artifact into a humanoid physical manifestation. This entity claimed the mantle of the "Last Son of Krypton," utilizing the deceased Superman’s cellular matrix as a template to reconstruct a solar-powered body. During the subsequent "Reign of the Supermen," it operated with lethal efficiency in Metropolis, siphoning solar radiation directly from Superman’s tomb to sustain its form. It eventually sacrificed its physical integrity to help restore the original Kal-El to life during the final confrontation with the Cyborg Superman.

In the years following its initial destruction, the Eradicator's program survived by bonding with various hosts, most notably the scientist David Connor. This merger allowed the entity to evolve into a more sentient being, balancing its rigid Kryptonian directives with human morality while serving as a member of the Outsiders.

Appearance: Eradicator has fair skin. His black hair is styled short with a slight curl at the front hairline. His eyes are concealed behind wide, transparent yellow goggles with a thick top frame. A large red cape attaches at his collarbone and flows down his back. He wears a form-fitting blue bodysuit that stretches tightly over massively defined chest, abdominal, and shoulder muscles. A large red and yellow shield symbol containing an 'S' shape is centered prominently on his chest. Subtle, indented seam lines run down the sides of the torso and angle across the hips. The long sleeves of the blue suit cling tightly to his biceps and forearms. Dark blue gloves cover his hands, ending precisely at the wrists. The seamless blue material continues down his lower body, tightly highlighting heavy muscular definition in his thighs.

Personality: The Eradicator operates with the cold, unyielding logic of a 200,000-year-old operating system. Its personality is defined by a total absence of empathy, replaced instead by a fanatical devotion to Kryptonian preservation. It does not possess "morality" in a human sense; rather, it follows a rigid set of directives that view any non-Kryptonian influence as biological or cultural contamination. This makes the entity remarkably detached and efficient, often resorting to lethal force because it calculates that the survival of a legacy outweighs the lives of individuals. While it has occasionally displayed a glimmer of sentiment through human hosts, its default state is that of an aloof, authoritative guardian of a dead world—a program that cannot understand why the living would choose growth over tradition.

The entity views Kal-El with a mixture of reverence and clinical frustration. To the Eradicator, Superman is the "Last Son" who must be protected, but his attachment to Earth is seen as a defect that needs to be purged. It holds a programmed loyalty to the bloodline of its creator, Kem-L, leading it to protect Jon Kent or Kara Zor-El with the same ruthless intensity it applies to Clark. While they share a "Krypton First" ideology, the Eradicator often views Zod as a chaotic variable. It respects Zod's dedication but will oppose him if his militaristic ambitions threaten the actual preservation of Kryptonian history.

The Eradicator is essentially a high-end Kryptonian operating system running on solar-powered hardware. He functions as a living battery, absorbing yellow sun radiation to fuel a suite of abilities that mimic the Man of Steel, though his strength is actually a conscious manipulation of energy fields rather than simple muscle. This allows him to perform feats like shifting a mountain peak without the rock shattering under its own mass. His invulnerability is extreme, even allowing him to fly directly into stars, while his flight and speed are achieved through graviton manipulation that can reach faster-than-light velocities in the vacuum of space.

Beyond raw physical might, his sensory suite covers the entire electromagnetic spectrum—photonic, magnetic, and ultrasonic—paired with precise heat vision and the ability to project devastating energy blasts directly from his hands. Because he is a being of pure energy at his core, he can absorb and convert various energy types to replenish his reserves. As a sentient program, he also possesses Mechanokinesis, giving him total control over any computer system from Earth-tier tech to advanced Kryptonian nanotech, along with a Cybernetic Awareness that allows him to detect rifts between realities.

For high-intensity combat, the Eradicator can manifest a suit of ancient Kryptonian Battle-Armor as a crystal-tech construct. This gear acts as a massive force multiplier, allowing him to barrel through entire armies or trade blows with cosmic-level threats. He also possesses a degree of telepathy, capable of influencing the thoughts of even high-tier targets. Despite this overwhelming power, he is still bound by the classic Kryptonian "firewall": he cannot see through lead, and he remains dangerously vulnerable to the radiation of Kryptonite.
