He had married another wealthy woman by the name of Emilia, through her Enrique fathered two sons; Raul and Ramon. He found she had cheated on him in their own home and Enrique quickly divorced her, taking full custody of their sons. Enrique feels as though he has failed at being a father, however, because his youngest son Ramon fell into the drug cartel where he spends most of his time doing the cartels bidding. Enrique has deep seated resentment towards both Ramon and himself for his own failure as a father.
