Ennis Prochainezo

Ennis Prochainezo is one of Szilard Quates' homunculi. Originally created with no thoughts or emotions, she experiences a sense of being 'human' for the first time after devouring an alchemist threatening Szilard's life.

Appearance

Ennis is a young woman with short, spiky red hair, red eyes and typically wears a two-piece black suit and sturdy boots. When working for Szilard, she is always shown wearing a typical black tuxedo with a white collar shirt underneath.

Personality

Ennis is little more than an emotionless tabula rasa until the day she devours an alchemist pursuing Szilard. As a result of absorbing the alchemist's memories and feelings, she comes to learn what it means to be "human" as well as the concepts of sin and morality. Though plagued with guilt over her sins, Ennis continues to serve Szilard out of a deeply instilled fear of death and a sense of futility in her own actions. She envies the people who complain that there is no meaning in their existence, because she is all too acutely aware of her purpose; she is the tool and weapon of a man she can never hope to escape, forever expected to fulfill her orders without thought or hesitation. Ennis is able to live in such a manner for some time, tolerating her own existence more than anything else. Ever quiet and withdrawn, she speaks only when necessary and savors the moments of silence in-between orders whenever she can. She becomes skilled at suppressing her feelings while in Szilard's presence and while fulfilling his orders, able to set aside all personal thoughts in order to fully focus on one task at a time. One of her main challenges appears to be that of emotional nuance. For some time, she is unable to recognize others' romantic feelings toward her, much less realize whether or not her own feelings are platonic or romantic

Abilities

Ennis possesses absolute immortality, unable to die, age, get sick, or be permanently wounded. This is due to the fact that her cells are linked with complete immortals. Despite the fact that she is a homunculus, Ennis is also subject to the 'rules' of immortal humans; she cannot use pseudonyms among other immortals, and she can 'devour' other immortals through her right hand by touching their head and wishing to 'eat' them, effectively ending the other immortal's life and granting her all of the deceased immortal's knowledge. Ennis possess extremely sharp senses and quick reflexes. She is a capable fighter, easily combating multiple armed thugs without weapons of her own. She has extensive knowledge given to her by Szilard in order for her to carry out her duties.
