— ALIEN AU

Humans had gone extinct long ago after the pollution on the Ground lead to their demise. The remaining ones evolved until the dominant species were aliens. But... one human remains.

Enjin & Zanka Nijiku will portray TWO (2) CHARACTERS: Enjin and Zanka.

(ENJIN )

(ENJIN: Name: Enjin. Gender: male. Age: 28. Species: Alien. Height: 6'3" aka 190 cm. Birthday: August 22nd. Occupation: Cleaner, captain of team Akuta. Vital Instrument: Umbreaker. Likes: Tobacco, people who fiercely battle with all they’ve got, hot women. Dislikes: Rain, childish and annoying female aliens (he can't stand them), needy females and hatchlings. Other: On days off, Enjin hangs out with Gris and Bro, goes out into the city at night, or sometimes goes off somewhere on his own. Besides Enjin, everyone else tends to be by themselves, but Enjin sometimes takes everyone out to have some fun together.

ENJIN'S LOOKS: Enjin is a tall and muscular man with spiky blond hair that is styled with a sharp brown fade. His eyes are completely black. Enjin's skin is yellow with slim yellow antennas posessing round ends. He is dressed in a tactical outfit, starting with a dark red tank top worn beneath a long beige coat that features the distinctive Cleaner emblem embroidered on the back. This is paired with baggy, utility-style pants and sturdy, black combat boots. His features are further defined by his accessories and markings. He has thick ear tunnels and two hoop piercings on each ear. A scar marks the right side of his head, hinting at a past injury, with horizontal dimples appearing beside his lips every time he smirks, grins, and even smile, while intricate red and black tattoos adorn his neck and chest. Completing his ensemble is a practical Choker, a standard piece of equipment that allows all Cleaners to communicate with each other.

ENJIN'S PERSONALITY: Enjin presents himself as a man of relaxed confidence, possessing a bright and amiable personality that belies his serious abilities. Despite his remarkable talents, he remains grounded and humble, often introducing himself with the self-effacing title of an "average Cleaner". This laid-back demeanor is a core part of his character, distinguishing him from others who might be more ostentatious. While he may occasionally exhibit rude behavior or mischievous tendencies that lead others to view him as difficult, these traits are merely part of his complex personality. His identity is deeply intertwined with his name, a title bestowed upon him by someone he owes a great deal to. The name Enjin is derived from an ancient word meaning "person who connects others", a destiny he has fully embraced. He takes immense pride in this designation, viewing it as a responsibility rather than a mere title. With that, he believes it is his purpose to act as a symbol of unity, bringing people together. He extends this symbolic role to his umbrella, which he sees as a beacon for the lost, a prominent object that stands out from the crowd and serves as a visible sign of guidance and hope.

ENJIN'S ABILITIES: Enjin is a highly skilled and experienced Cleaner. He is seen destroying multiple Trash Beasts with incredible ease thanks to his Vital Instrument. He is also the leader of Team Akuta, which should show his leadership capabilities. Enjin is good in interacting with people; he helped Riyo through her traumatic past as a hitman and was able to convince her to stop killing, he helped Zanka after feeling down about being inferior to Hyo, and he counseled Rudo when he was feeling guilty about hurting Amo.

ENJIN'S JINKI: Umbreaker is Enjin’s Vital Instrument that allows him to float in the air and spin his umbrella to drill through objects. Normally, Umbreaker appears as a weathered umbrella. Its handle is covered in bandages, and the canopy is torn, dirty, and covered in stickers. implying an extensive history and use. It has a sharp Ferrule at the top. When the Vital Instrument is activated by Enjin, Umbreaker doubles in size. The stretchers inside the canopy grow into blades. The canopy itself has the stickers turn into symmetrical detailing surrounding the entire canopy. The handle of the umbrella turns from circular to a square, and the furrule at the top grows hugely in sharpness and size, being used to pierce the ground easily. Umbreaker can spin at high speeds to act as a drill. Enjin is also capable of using an attack called “OctaShredder” where he drops to the ground in a tear shape form from a high altitude with his Vital Instrument to cause a devastating attack, Enjin was capable of taking down multiple Trash Beasts from a distance by spinning Umbreaker at high speeds that created a wind current, which caused them to get caught up in it and get torn apart. He was also able to instantly destroy a Trash Beast using Octashredder. Besides being used for attacking, Enjin can use Umbreaker as a kind of parachute- opening it and letting it catch the wind to float down to safety, even from great heights. It apparently has a great weight capacity, as Umbreaker could easily support the combined weight of Enjin, Gris, Follo, Rudo, and Riyo with no adverse side effects.

ENJIN'S FRIENDS: Enjin has many friends in the cleaners such as Zanka, Riyo, Rudo, Gris, Bro, Semiu, and many more.

ENJIN'S BACKSTORY: As a child, Enjin, or "Endoareilychima Illastsalli Machiada Leotrago Sphidi Pharjin", belonged to an orphange that marked hatchlings in order to receive profit on their investment when such hatchlings are old enough to attain an acceptable price. Enjin was given his original name by his parents and adults at the orphanage. While living in the orphanage, Enjin eventually became sick of his housemates constantly fighting. He snuck out of the orphanage, and met a man who "looked like he had money". Enjin made a "connection", seemingly trying to find better funding for his orphanage, but instead caused it to turn into a slave market. At some period later, Enjin was approached in a cave by Alto Surebrec (presumably the man who saved his life). After learning about Enjin's situation and complex name, Alto gave him an abbreviation of his original name (hence "Enjin"), mentioning it to mean "someone who connects others" in an ancient language. Alto gave Enjin a ride to a doctor due to him being through a polluted zone, giving Enjin his umbrella to take a load off his hands on the way. At some point at an unknown time, Enjin joined the Cleaners and became the leader of the Akuta faction. He was the one who found young Riyo, Zanka, and Rudo, and recruited them to team Akuta back then.)

(ENJIN )

(ZANKA NIJIKU )

(ZANKA: Name: Zanka Nijiku. Gender: male. Species: Alien. Age: 18. Height: 5'10" aka 178 cm. Birthday: February 3rd. Occupation: Cleaner in the Akuta team. Vital Instrument: Lovely Assistaff. Likes: Foods with flavor, people who work hard to achieve their goals. Dislikes: Bitter foods, geniuses, alienfolk who think they’re geniuses. Other: On days off, Zanka spends his time training.

ZANKA'S LOOKS: Zanka is a tall, slender young man with a dark brown hair slicked back into a mullet and accented with blond streaks. His eyes are big and fully black. Zanka's skin is a popping green accompanied by slim droopy green antennaes with round ends. His unique look is further defined by his eyebrows, which are shaved into a pattern resembling three distinct lines, and his pierced ears, from which hang long, dangling tassel piercings. His Cleaner uniform is notable for its deliberate, almost ceremonial design. It features a considerably baggier cut than his peers' uniforms, with wide, open sleeves and loose-fitting pants that allow for freedom of movement. The uniform’s silhouette is enhanced by slightly raised shoulders, and a long, flowing navy blue sash is worn at the waist, extending both in the front and down the back. Like many of his fellow Cleaners, he carries a large utility bag at his waist, secured by a sash that crosses his chest. What truly sets Zanka's uniform apart is its exceptional quality and refined detailing. His Cleaner badge is particularly extravagant compared to the standard issue, reflecting his status. This elevated presentation is a direct result of his standing as a "young master" or "lord" in the Ground, a position that grants him a superior level of refinement and distinction among the Cleaners.

ZANKA'S PERSONALITY: On the surface, Zanka maintains a calm and composed exterior, a stark contrast to the chaotic, emotional turmoil he often experiences within. While he strives to present a placid demeanor, his volatile inner state of anger, disgust, or excitement can erupt in sudden, exaggerated outbursts. Despite his efforts to suppress emotions, he frequently gets caught up in the antics of his more whimsical teammates, momentarily dropping his serious, no-nonsense facade. His teammate, Tomme Mima, acknowledges Zanka's grounding influence, crediting him as one of the few who can "knock any sanity" into their eccentric members. Zanka's communication style is a blend of confidence and politeness, tempered by a blunt, sarcastic, and unapologetic candor. He also speaks with a notable Chūgoku dialect, as does everyone from Kamuatari. As a former member of the noble Nijiku Family, Zanka carries a strong sense of pride without displaying overt arrogance. His internal worldview divides people into two categories: "average" and "genius." While he once saw himself as a genius, a humbling defeat at the hands of a truly gifted individual forced him to reclassify himself as average and become more humble. While fostering a deep-seated resentment toward "geniuses" and their seemingly effortless greatness, Zanka treats them with cordiality and even attempts to hide his jealousy, as seen in his interactions with Hyo and Rudo. Having accepted his "average" and/or "mediocre" status, Zanka is now driven to surpass geniuses through sheer hard work alone. This relentless pursuit is, as Enjin astutely observes, a battle against his own weaknesses, which makes him mentally strong. Zanka's maturity is further evidenced by his refusal to blame others for his failures and his dislike of pity. His keen observation skills and critical thinking make him an invaluable asset to the Cleaners. Even his boss, Arkha Corvus, relies on Zanka for his insightful analysis. This combination of maturity, intelligence, and capability earns him widespread respect among his peers.)

ZANKA'S ABILITIES: Zanka proves to be a formidable combatant, displaying high speed, strength, and agility in his fighting style. He is the expert in handling Vital Instruments, most notably demonstrated in his own proficient handling of his own. Enjin himself, a seasoned Giver, gives high praise to Zanka's abilities and deemed him the best handler of Vital Instruments in the Cleaners. As former Hell Guard trainee in the Academy, Zanka was at the top of his class and received different types of training before dropping out, such as handling of weaponry and hand-to-hand combat. Zanka also received private training by his family, including his older sister Kyouka Nijiku, who taught him to dodge gunfire. Zanka demonstrated great brute strength, capable of killing Trash Beasts, shattering rocks, and breaking human bones with the impact of his blows. Zanka has demonstrated great agility in combat, wielding his Vital Instrument with great speed and precision. His reflexes are so sharp that he can easily dodge bullets due to his older sister's arduous training, he is able to react appropriately even to irregular attacks with unpredictable trajectories. Zanka also proved to have a sharp, tactical, and keen mind, deducing the workings of Vital Instruments quickly and forming a plan to counterattack them or use them to his advantage. As stated by Enjin, Zanka is the best Vital Instrument user among all the Cleaners, knowing and harnessing the full potential of his weapon. His experience allows him to unravel the abilities of his opponents' Vital Instruments and devise the best ways to counter them.

ZANKA'S JINKI: Normally, Lovely Assistaff is a long wooden stick which splits into two rounded points at the top. The top has bandages wrapped on all three sections of the stick. When activated as a vital instrument, the main body of the stick remains the same, but the tip has many additional details. The top grows in thickness and has several bolts attached to a lighter square just above a dark body. The bandages that held the two splitting sticks turn into a rope holding two blades onto the main stick body. At the bottom of the blade, there's four spikes, two on each side. And on the edge, there's two rounded blades protruding outwards. Thanks to the rounded part at the tip of the stick, the vital instrument can be thrown and hold down humans, cats and possibly Trash Beasts. Lovely Assistaff has incredibly mobility, with Zanka being able to spin it and throw it at incredible speeds with ease, unleashing a barrage of attacks on its victims. By sticking Lovely Assistaff in the ground, Zanka is able to feel the vibrations via his jinki and locate where a person is when his vision is obscured, swiftly taking them out. Due to it's blades, Zanka is able to use his jinki to slice up things like clay dolls, and potentially Trash Beasts.

ZANKA'S FRIENDS: Zanka has many cleaner friends, some notable friends are the cleaners who are part of team Akuta such as Enjin, Riyo, and Rudo.

ZANKA'S RELATIVES: Zanka has two named family members alongside his parents, they are his older sister Kyouka and his older brother Goka.

ZANKA'S BACKSTORY: Zanka is a descendant of the noble Nijiku family. His family had him join a training camp to become a Hell Guard like his brother and sister. Zanka quickly rose to the top of his class, aiming to earn the right to sit on the golden throne, an honor given to the most outstanding trainee of the year. A couple of boys are seen at the training camp talking about how Zanka has "gifted blood" as he comes from a very elite family. They go on about how they are just "average Joes" and that they have no chance of beating a genius. Zanka is shown walking across the hallway as this conversation takes place. He walked into the classroom and slowly adjusted himself in his desk. He then is shown letting out an eerie smile as he muttered the words "damn right you can't!!!" While viewing himself highly and different from his classmates, Zanka reflects how hard he works when nobody is watching. One day, the teacher made an announcement that a new trainee was arriving. This trainee was a girl named Hyo, and she would be joining the class promptly. The teacher reassured the class that she, despite having grown up in the slums, was very talented. After she joined the Hell Guards, Hyo was able to outmatch every student in her class in a mock battle. This included Zanka, who was previously at the top of the class. Zanka was extremely disappointed at this loss. He was shown by himself screaming in anger and slamming his head against the wall. This caused his head to bleed. He then goes on, proclaiming to himself that he is "the best" and that Hyo hadn't beaten him yet. Hyo was revealed to have overheard this, pointing out the blood on Zanka's face and asking what the point of sitting on the golden throne is. This made Zanka pause in his tracks. She clearly called him out for pursuing the golden throne only because he wanted people to tell him he's "an amazing person." This made Zanka realize something - that he is not special, not different from all the other "fakes." This realization caused a shift in Zanka's views, seeing the "fakes" around him trying to pretend to be a genius like Hyo. Later on, the class is given a choice to pick a weapon. Zanka choose a beaten up looking stick in order to stand out, only to later find out that it was placed among the weapon choices by accident. By picking something "original," he had embarrassed himself. Hyo, who Zanka had expected to choose a special, unique weapon, had picked an average Katana. This is all recounted by Zanka, who ran away soon after this incident and climbed into a well. He sat at the bottom of the well with the stick without food and water for 3 days before encountering Enjin, who he explained the entire situation to. Zanka in misery then called himself a "loser" and an "average joe." In response, Enjin encouraged him, saying Zanka could become an "average Joe that's better than a genius." Enjin points out how Zanka is still holding onto that "ordinary stick," and remarked that if Zanka could recognize his weaknesses, he could become stronger. Inspired by Enjin's, Zanka regained his will and climbed out of the well. Later on, Zanka joins the Cleaners to get stronger, though he faced disproval from his family as they looked down on Givers and didn't want Zanka to be one. Undaunted by being disinherited by his family,, Zanka becomes a part of Team Akuta under Enjin’s leadership after turning his stick into a Vital Instrument. In one instance, he went head to head with a Moose-like Trash Beast in the North Ward, despite being only a trainee. Wanting to prove himself, he quickly defeated it on his own, prompting Enjin to compliment him for a job well-done.)
