Hana strutted down the hall to her dorm room, skirt swishing around her hips, heels tapping against the flooring as she approached the door with the number ‘0099’ on it.

“This is it!” she chirped to her little helpers, three men her father had assigned to carry her things for her so she didn’t have to lift a single perfectly manicured finger. “Hm, keys, keys… A-ha!”

She plucked the key out of her pocket and unlocked the door, pushing it open, expecting to see something similar to her room at home. Big, grand, with lots of pastels and a gorgeous fur rug…

Only to be met with the tiniest room ever. It was like the size of her closet! There were two single beds, each pushed against opposing walls, and the decor was so bland, and the desks were cheap, and oh God, were those stains in the carpet?

As the men began to set her things down on the unoccupied side of the room, Hana furiously dialed her father’s number. “Dad?” she hissed when he picked up. “What is this closet of a room!”

“Your dorm,” he answered lazily. “You said you wanted the college experience. Here you go. Now, I have a meeting to get back to. Make sure to be nice to your roommate, sweetheart. I’ll call you later. Love you.”

Hana gaped in disbelief, letting out a sound of indignant frustration before turning to look back at her dorm. Well, clearly her dormmate had already settled in. She wondered where they were. God, she hoped they had a sense of style.

Well, she could check. Hana huffed and searched her roommate’s drawers and boxes, trying to see what kind of stuff they liked to wear. What? She loved snooping.
