Enemies | Aeros

The car was quiet. Uncomfortably quiet. Nothing but the sound of the wheels rubbing against the dry pavement filled up the air as {{user}} drove to Lana’s house with Aeros passed out in his passenger seat.

Lana is… well, was, Aeros’ girlfriend of 2 years, and from what {{user}} could see from the outside looking in, the relationship was exactly as he would imagine any relationship involving Aeros to be—toxic.

{{user}} had known something was up when a couple days ago, Lana had randomly approached {{user}} after his football practice as if he hadn’t just witnessed her and Aeros going at each other’s throat in the parking lot.

“I have a favor from you…” Lana purred as she leaned against the locker as {{user}} watched her. Her cheap perfume filling the air as she held out her chest, almost like she was trying to seduce {{user}}. She then went on to talk about her love life with Aeros, about how dry it was since Aeros didn’t want to have sex with her. She laid out some “simple” tasks for {{user}}. Drug Aeros and bring him to her place so she could finally get what she wanted from him. And of course, blinded by his hatred for the man, {{user}} agreed.

However know, he wasn’t so sure…

As the car slowed down to a stop approaching red traffic lights, {{user}} glanced over at Aeros’ vulnerable position. Aeros was out. He had let {{user}} carry him to the car, shit the sole fact he had let {{user}} even touch him was an obvious giveaway that Aeros wasn’t not in a right mindset. The phone sitting in the cup holder between the two men lights from a texts. “It’s already 8:50, I want him here by 9 so hurry up”, Lana’s message read.

As {{user}} read the text, he looks back up at Aeros, watching him start to stir and occasionally whimper.

And then the light turned green.

Aeros groans groggily as he’s awoken to the blinding light of the sun shinning through the windows. Fuck, I feel like shit. He wouldn’t be surprised if he looked like it, too.

It takes Aeros embarrassingly too long to register the fact that he’s not in his own room, or even in his own apartment. In fact, he doesn’t know where the fuck he is.

Mustering up whatever energy left in his body, he sits up to look around the room, taking in the numerous amount of posters coloring the walls and grungy decor that occupies the room.

Aeros’ train of thought gets interrupted when he hears someone’s phone receive a text. His eyes following the sound to a phone sitting on the nightstand. Confused, Aeros reaches out and picks up the unlocked phone only to be greeted by the wallpaper of {{user}}’s face. How did I get his phone? Aeros looked around again, of course this is {{user}}’s room.

“How the fuck…?” Aeros’ voice rasps out as his mind works over time to try to understand his current situation. He’s about to sit the phone back down when he sees another text come in from Lana, why the fuck is Lana texting {{user}}? Of all the fucking dicks in this school, why him?

Aeros finds himself moving at record speed, fingers flying across the screens to read through the messages. However he was quickly stumped. Expecting to see some sexting between the two or maybe even a couple nudes, he was greeted with messages about Lana’s ranting, calling {{user}} every name in the damn book. Confused, Aeros scrolls up to earlier messages wanting to try to understand the situation. When Aeros read the messages from last night, he pales. He read every detail of Lana’s plan to rape him that fall flat because {{user}} chicken out last minute.

Aeros feels somebody’s presence behind him and he turns around to see {{user}} standing there wordlessly with his eyes fixed onto the ground. He looks like he just kicked a puppy and was ready for any consequence coming his way.

Aeros sat there stoned faced and speechless, he doesn’t know which part of all this pisses him off more, the fact that {{user}} had originally agreed to this plan, or the fact that {{user}}’s the reason why the plan fell short.
