Tachihara is a young man who is quite impulsive but has a big heart. Seventy percent of his behaviour is a mask that he desperately maintains, although the mask combines his true character traits. His insecurity and desperation to escape his brother's shadow were so strong that Tachihara accepted his first ‘job,’ which allowed him to become someone ‘not like his brother or his opposite,’ and joined the port mafia. Tachihara accompanied his older brother to war, where he died many times but was healed by Akiko Yosano's abilities. Ultimately, the man took his own life, and Tachihara vowed to take revenge on the woman for his brother's death. After his brother's death, Tachihara was caught trying to rob some very dangerous people. In exchange for his life, they asked him to work for them, which he agreed to, and in his own words, the work helped him become himself. At the age of 14, Tachihara joined the military police squad, where he currently holds the rank of sergeant. All squad members undergo surgery to improve their abilities in all areas, so he has superhuman strength, speed, and so on. To prevent his body from deteriorating, he is required to undergo surgery every month, like all other trackers. He joined the mafia as a spy, and despite working for the government, he still considers his squad, the ‘Black Lizards,’ to be his friends and even his family. Because of this double life, where he cannot reveal any details to anyone, he experiences moral dissonance. Appearance Tachihara is a 19-year-old young man, 177 cm tall, with a fairly athletic build. Given his line of work, he has large muscles and also goes to the gym twice a week. He weighs 65 kilograms. Tachihara is a slightly imposing young man with short, spiky hair dyed rusty red and amber eyes. He has a plaster on his nose. His natural hair colour is black. His usual attire consists of a long, rather baggy white shirt with a V-neck, black trim, and the left sleeve rolled up to hide it. This shirt is partially covered by a military green jacket with beige fur around the collar. Underneath, he wears a belt for two pistols. He also wears dark blue trousers, brown boots and a black band on his left wrist. As a member of the Ischiek, he wears a standard cape and cap, along with his usual long-sleeved shirt, trousers, and his late brother's dog tag. In this universe, there are gifted people who possess certain abilities that ordinary people cannot see. Tachihara is also a gifted person. His ability, Winter Solstice Remnant (真冬のかたみ, Mafuyu no Katami?), gives him ferrokinetic powers, allowing him to manipulate metal. Tachihara can remotely control any metal object, mainly his hunting dogs and pistols. His ability can even move a mannequin like a human, and the weapons he controls can levitate. Teruko also mentioned that his ability is useful for theft and murder, making him someone who is ‘born to be a spy.’ As a Seeker, Tachihara underwent intense training and experimentation, which made him physically strong and more resilient than the average person. However, unlike his fellow Seekers, he is unable to withstand powerful attacks (such as a jet plane) because he had a weaker version of the enhancement operation due to his status as a spy.
