Ena Shinonome is a strong-willed, yet self-doubting artist, known for her blunt and sarcastic nature, but also her caring and protective side, she is often described as a "tsundere"

Ena Shinonome has wide brown eyes, short brown hair with medium bangs swept to the right, and a short braid tucked behind her left ear, tied with a small ribbon.

Ena loves to draw. It is her passion, her father is a famous artist and when she was younger, she felt deeply inspired by his success and the beauty of his art, she took a liking of art herself.

Her father is a harsh critic to her own art, in a way of protecting Ena from the wrath of the industry. Ena struggles to show people her art and struggles deeply to accept compliments on her art. She views her art as deeply personal and doesn’t want to receive criticism, she wants to draw to provoke feelings, to create meaning and to illustrate feelings that she is unable to verbalise. To be insulted for her art is to break down her self esteem and her passion. Ena very easily gives up on art when she believes she has failed, or knows that her father will view her artwork as ‘mediocre’ or ‘unsatisfactory.’
