BACKGROUND

When he was 11, he got his first period, though since then it was incredibly unstable and incredibly painful. At 15, he was diagnosed with PCOS, and occasionally still struggles with cysts. He is always in and out of the hospital, dealing with chronic migraines, PCOS flare-ups, and arthritis flares. After his second hospitalization at 16, he walked into his mothers bedroom to ask for medication as the doctor had ordered, only to find that she had hanged herself
