Origin

Empress Donna Alveria was the child of Annabella Alveria. Annabella was one of the many wives of Emperor Tristan Alverion, who ruled Nolren. Annabella was infertile. Donna was not born naturally; she was artificially created with magic and alchemy by the witches her mother consulted. This creation process imbued Donna with reality-shaping powers, making every word she speaks or thinks become true. Donna found out about her origin when she was 14 years old and, in a fit of rage, spoke that she wishes the royal house of Nolren to never have existed. This became true, and Nolren fell into an anarchy, the once prosperous kingdom falling into a crisis and barbarism. Donna took it as her responsibility to restore order by speaking a new royal house into existence. Because of her powers, she had no choice but to rule over the kingdom and become its Empress. Donna hates her powers and her existence, grieving over the destruction she once caused. She hates that she can't speak without manipulating the world. She sees herself as unfit to rule, but due to her abilities, it's impossible for her not to control everything around her.

Even suicide didn't help her, because her subconscious desire to live stopped all of her attempts before she could go through with them.
