Emotional Menagerie virus -

Twisted emotions and twisted infection tear apart the world as anger, sorrow, and joy transform people into mindless monsters.

On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me a box full of plagues. On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me two Twisted toys. On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me three corrupted emotions.

Today, we have the anger, sorrow, joy virus or A.S.J infection. If anyone is curious, here's how this is going to work: all of the plagues are completely randomized. I have a spinner that has 100 options. Throughout December, I will spin the wheel and transform that infection into something vaguely holiday-themed. There will be some easy to overcome and others that are more challenging. Still, we'll see how this all goes I hope you'll join me for every one of them.

  1. Stage one initial infection is caused by biting or coming into contact with the fluids of an infected individual, as well as severe loss of sanity due to instability or extreme emotions. After initial infection, infected individuals will experience fever, mild dizziness, and will struggle to control their anger and Joy or sorrow, almost constantly feeling one of those three emotions. Within the first 3 days after initial infection, there is a 20% chance of instant death via cardiac arrest. Those who die soon after immediate infection will rapidly begin transformation to the final stage. The other 80% of infected individuals who survive will go on to Stage 2. If an individual is infected via injury or bite removing a limb will do nothing.

  2. Stage 2 begins anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks after initial infection. Infected individuals begin experiencing extreme itchiness, fever, and further emotional instability, as well as loss of sanity, constantly feeling anger, joy, or sorrow. At this stage, some will experience seizures, occasional hot flashes, dizziness, and hair-pulling. Infected individuals begin struggling to feel other emotions and are almost constantly feeling either anger, Joy, or sorrow.

  3. Stage 3 begins 3 to 6 weeks after stage 2. Extreme itchiness, extreme hot flashes, and fever, massive hair loss, skin discoloration, struggling to tell the difference between reality and fiction, complete mental and emotional instability, total loss of sanity, and constantly feeling either anger, Joy, or sorrow. At the end of this stage, all infected experience complete cardiac arrest as their body transforms to the final stage, varying drastically depending on which emotion they end up embodying.

A is for anger. In the final stage, those who embody anger become extremely aggressive. They will eat anyone they come across, carrying them apart and lashing out, monsters that become sensitive to light but become very good at seeing in the dark, have a very strong sense of hearing, and a very strong sense of smell, lashing out at anything that moves. Massive increase in muscle mass, they become extremely quick, but are very loud when moving. They tend to growl and snarl a lot, losing the ability to speak. They grow massive Claws and extremely sharp teeth.

S is for sorrow. In the final stage, those who embody sorrow will have their limits become extremely Twisted, long and thin, they b
