I wanted Emmeline to be a blank book - a puzzle waiting to be solved. She could have ghosts from her past or perhaps have drawn the Fae's attention. Or maybe she has more mundane issues to deal with.

The journey ahead is yours to guide.

She may take some convincing, but she will go where you lead her.
