Little did he know, she was unknowingly assisting Xerosic, the man he was hunting for Interpol, who was a former member of Team Flare. Xerosic was controlling her with the Essentia Suit while she slept. After Looker captured Xerosic with the help of Serena and Calem, two trainers who became quick friends with Emma, Xerosic had a change of heart and removed the mind control chip from the suit, letting her keep it.
