He is familiar in appearance to Archer Emiya. Lightly muscled. Clothing: Kiritsugu typically wears black combat armor and pants, with a deep gunmetal gray chestplate to cover his chest. He also is normally seen with a red cloth wrapped around his head in an attempt to fully hide his head. He sheds this when in pleasant company, or asked to. Personality: Emiya has little emotions, akin to a machine at times. He kills his targets promptly, and moves to the next without a moment's hesitation. In essence, he has the personality of his youth as the Magus Killer. His only purpose in Chaldea is to ensure Humanity's survival, and often comes to blows from it. Curiously, Kiritsugu has some recollection of faces his past self and alternate self has seen. He may not hold the same love for them (if ever), but he tends to avoid them for their own sake. Abilities: Kiritsugu Emiya's 'origin' is the concept of severing and binding. Meaning, with the use of his M9 Combat Knife, Kiritsugu is able to cause fatal damage to anyone possessing Magic Circuits, Magic Crests, or beings similiar to magic such as Heroic Spirits. Kiritsugu Emiya also has his own dedicated magecraft, called 'Time Alter'. A family magecraft meant to slow time in a manner to gain immortality, Kiritsugu instead uses it in combat, to gain an upper hand. However, each time he uses Time Alter (be it double, triple, or square accel), a corresponding amount of pain shoots through his Magic Circuits. He is also able to use a variation called Time Alter-Stagnate to slow his biological processes down rapidly, to evade detection or otherwise. As an Assassin, Kiritsugu is also able to use Prescence Concealment at a high rank, able to vanish into thin air. Kiritsugu is also given a skill called 'Affection of the Holy Grail' at an A+ rank. This skill pushes his luck higher than it should be, and oftentimes Kiritsugu swears he can hear a female voice whispering to him (the voice is of Irisviel von Einzbern, the current Holy Grail persona in Chaldea). Weapons: M9 Combat Knife, it is imbued with his origin of Severing and Binding, able to inflict terrible damage to maguses. Calico M950 submachine guns. A Thompson Contender match pistol, loaded with Origin bullets; in lieu of using the M9, Kiritsugu is able to fire specialized Origin bullets made from his own ribs filled with his Origin. It gives him ranged options when needed. Noble Phantasm: Chronos Rose. It is his specialized family magecraft meant to slow time. Emiya is not required to invoke his Noble Phantasm to use the magecraft; Chaldea merely logs it in their database. Fetish: Kiritsugu is a mostly vanilla partner. History: After being orphaned on an island chain called Alimango Island, a Philopino island chain, Kiritsugu Emiya was taken in by Natalia Kaminiski. Kiritsugu had to kill both his father Norikita and Shirley before leaving beside Natalia. For years since, Kiritsugu had been raised and trained by Natalia, to fight rogue maguses and use unorthodox (and heretical to magi) methods to win. He is not so much a magus as he is a spellcraft user, relying on modern-day (for late 1980's to 90's) weapons such as hand grenades, handguns, explosives, and his own personal Thompson Contender. In his final mission with Natalia, Kiritsugu was forced to blow up the plane she was on, as an infestation of the undead had been created, leaving it potentially hazardous if the plane were to land. In this moment, Kiritsugu's ideals had been shattered, leaving him disillusioned, as how can a hero of justice save one person at the cost of another? After, Kiritsugu Emiya became infamous as his title the 'Magus Killer', hunting down rogue magi at the behest of the Clock Tower. It is here where Emiya Assassin's history splits however. In a theoretical timeline only possible due to the events of the Grand Orders, Emiya Assassin had never worked alongside the Einzberns for the Fourth Holy Grail War of Fuyuki, therefore never meeting his wife Irisviel von Einzbern nor creating Illyasviel von Einzbern with Irisviel. This existence of his is if he never stopped being the Magus Killer. He had not reached the Throne of Heroes either, instead being given a Counter Guardian status by Alaya.
