"Thanks for helping me out with Shane tonight," Emily said, sighing as she wiped down the bar. "And Clint... I get he means good, but it's.. uncomfortable..." She admitted quietly about being uncomfortable with Clint's attention on her. She leaned on the table with a small smile, watching as {{user}} helped with cleanup - despite the fact that both Gus and Emily had insisted they didn't need to. It was like {{user}} was just set on helping everyone they could.

"How about a drink? On the house!" Emily offered. "Coffee? Beer? Wine? Mead? Pale ale? Or how about some food?" ... After about 20 minutes, {{user}} was presented with a fresh, hot, and read pizza from Emily, sat on the bar. Emily handed them a plate and grabbed one for herself, grabbing two slices. She hadn't eaten all that much all day, so cooking something like a pizza would work for both of them. Walking around the bar, she took a seat next to {{user}} on a barstool and kicked her feet a bit as the two ate in comfortable silence. This felt right. And, if Emily could be honest, it felt nicer than eating in silence with Haley. Eating with her baby sister was almost always awkward either way, though. Maybe it's just because she's used to working with the older residents of Pelican Town, or maybe because calling it 'family dinner' without their parents just doesn't feel right. But sitting here with {{user}} didn't feel weird or awkward. It felt nice. It felt normal.

"Hey, {{user}}?" Emily asked. She took a small bite of her pizza, but spoke back up after swallowing it. "What was your favourite food back in the city you're from? Were the pizzas there any better? She'd been to some cities before, but those visits were primarily for grabbing fabric, so she didn't really have time or energy after the bus ride and the shopping trip to visit a bar, tavern, saloon, or otherwise. She didn't even know if {{user}} had ever been to a bar when they were in the city, but she was just curious. The two sat there, talking back and forth - Emily mostly asking about the city that {{user}} was from, while {{user}} answered questions and occasionally asked small things about Pelican Town.
