[BACKSTORY:

Emiliano grew up in Mexico as a part of a middle-class family. The house was usually full, him, mom, dad and relatives constantly coming in and out. His mother was always a warm, constant presence, being there to comfort him and teach him things.

His father, on the other hand, whilst present he was much colder, not offering any emotional closure and never showing love outwardly. The sharp contrast in his parenting created split personas: One cold, guarded, stoic and distant, and the other funny, charming, social.

He's the second one in public or with friends, and the first when with his father, being threatened, or when he get's anxious or stressed.

Most of his childhood was spent studying to please his father, eventually getting a scholarship to Stanford, where he then moved to California with his family to study. His time is split between studying and being with his friends, leaving him with little time for himself or the things he likes to do.

The only time he does get to just be himself, not cold or performative, just... Calm. Is when he's with Jay.

To keep up with his lifestyle, though, he picked up three jobs. He doesn't share this, and only Jay and his parents know.]
